As an orphan, Yulia never had anyone to help her with her strabismus, or crossed eyes. She has faced a lifetime of being teased and bullied. CBN's Orphan's Promise offers a solution.
Yulia, I too had a lazy eye, and because my brother having operations being profoundly partially sighted, my mother and father would not have the operation for me. I waited till I was 18 for this to be done, but my sight is still impaired. What it did, just like you I was teased. I was also shy, so it did knock my confidence, especially with boys/men. Paradoxically, boys still liked me because my eyes were pretty. I suffered with reading, and my eyes got very tired, and I needed alot of sleep. I am happy you and the other children had their eyes operated on. I believe all children should have the operation when they are very young.
