10/10 Mosenite's music never fails to impress me. (This was requested by Rosaura Lattanzio) Filename: moseni_fog Note: This music is played 20% slower than normal.
2 years ago i was listening to yume 2kki OST with my grandpa, and his favourite song out of the ones i showed him was this song He is up in the sky now
That's so nice that your grandpa loved the soundtracks. I like to hear about people sharing what they love to their grandparents. BTW your grandpa has good taste like you.
i’ll never forget the first time i showed up here. by accident, i just sat there for what must have been 20 mins. i lit up a joint and just listened to the music and watched the comets race by. i’m so happy i found this game, it’s a true gem, one that only some can appreciate.
This area and the music are absolutely 10/10 material. Even though it only serves as a portal to the Lost Creek, so much passion and attention to detail went into the background, the reflections and the starry sky with that occasional shooting star.
this game has NO right to be this pretty in some areas, it blows my mind how people can do so much with the limitations of the rpgmaker engine. i love yume 2kki
Its the feeling of an unfamiliar place. Unsettling, even unnatural? Yes. But that's even more of a reason to brave it and discover it in all of its richness.
This reminds me one of those "calm (or silence, whatever you prefer) before the storm" types of ost, it also sounds nostalgic. This game's ost will forever stay a special place in my heart.
The music, the scenery. All makes me feel the feeling of nostalgia, with the mix of the feeling of awe and dreamy all combined together. Kind of similar to liminal spaces with the skies, the stars, the beautiful lake and those occasional wonderful shooting stars, its what makes this scene so memorable to me. It feels like every old and mid 2000-2010 games (Flash Games mostly) that I've played are all connected to this scene somehow. Anyway... Thank you so much for uploading this
The Midnight Lake, small though it may be, is bar none one of the most gorgeous spots in the entire game, even today, more than three years after its conception. Regardless of its status as a transitional area to the Lost Creek, first-time players are sure to be impressed by the sheer atmosphere of this jaw-droppingly gorgeous pseudo-event. From the magnificent color work of the sky, to the lifelike movement of the shooting stars and the mist that drifts over the crystal clear water, and especially to Mosenite's ethereal score, this spot is for sure awe-inspiring, much like most of qxy's work.
Through a phantom of fog, a sleepy forest dives into a mirror of lake water. A wave of ashen silk trait stretches gently enveloping the blue crowns. A little above the distant hills, overgrown with weeping fir trees, a quiet river of crystal rays of cold dawn flows through the infinity of dark azure. Between the ghosts of clouds, the affectionate glances of hundreds of sparks fly to the lake in the prosperity of the blue. A rain of shooting stars drizzles along the heavenly streams of pastel-bluish gloss. Below, in the unshakable lake that conceals inviolable peace, rocking the cradles of the old night, all the quiet happiness and tears without a groan, all the magnificent bliss of the amazing night sky, is reflected in it.Only a leaky fog floating drowsily across the lake is the only boundary between the sky and the water. Between a feeling and a dream.
