Some of this stuff is way too advanced, feels like it belongs in a collaboration of its own. Just so it could be properly celebrated. Layered on top of an existing game it just feels like it doesn’t belong
The entire point of 2kki is to be a mishmash of different art styles, so the fact it doesn't fit is what makes it fit. qxy is real talented, there's more to games than map assets/ design, maybe that's why he doesn't make his own game, easier to build off of something existing.
Sadly this route has changed now, it's only the same up until 7:15, so now it's harder to find the gray triangle world now. However I did find an alternate route through the red maze by going down a little flight of stairs

Is so weird, how the sierpinski maze is the only natural way to get to the virtual town, (I think that is what the place is called, could ve wrong.) Feels like it genuinely changed the perspective of the game from a 2d game, to a 2d game that has a 3D space.
I do not know, I got there thorough some.. white phone with the help of "telephone" effect... Totally not through the way that is shown here. I have no real idea how I manage to visit various places by exactly the ALTERNATIVE paths, EVERY SINGLE TIME. ....
@@hellonokay1925 Believe me, I *shall.* Especially when I am just a yet another recently-spawned newbie in such sphere as "Yume Nikki fangames", who is currently trying to complete Yume 2kki at least on one ending. ..... Occassionally finding out the most fresh rooms and locations instead.
@@lekasomewhatcreativeboi56 they kinda did do something like that with LISA: the painful rpg, although even then that’s not truly a “platformer”… it does take rpg maker to some of its Absolute limits though!!
