So it's 2024, it's so nostalgic, I heard this song 7 years ago when I was still in high school, at that time I was still immersed in my student love, those days I listened to this song all the time dozens of times a day with my radio, my parents were annoyed by that haha, listening to it now is so nostalgic, and the feeling about the song is much different than before. If you read this far I hope you have a nice day, thank you for reading my story, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. may peace and calmness fill your life.
Thanks for sharing 😉 this is a beautiful song, my first time hearing this was tonight shockingly, heard 5 seconds of it in someone instagram and was like I gotta hear the whole song if I like the 5 seconds I heard 😄
The black and white filter actually emphasizes the beauty of the song in my opinion. It makes everyone's skin colour the same. It's like telling that love has no border.
wrong. why do everyone needs to look the same color to fall in love lol. if they're telling that love has no border, every different color should be shown
no nudity, no bullshit, beautiful lyrics, beautiful attraction between two people, elegance.. this music is the proof that you don't have to over-do to have success.
I am...if people listened to this music it might be more happy people in the situations....Real music relates to peoples situations.....they just have to listen to things.
I remember when I first heard this song. It was 2016 around the time my nephew was born prematurely and had to be in an incubator for the first 2 months of his life. I was leaving the hospital one night when I stumbled upon this classic on the radio. I "Immediately" pulled over, pulled up RU-vid, and cruised around Columbus with this on repeat! So, @azharariffin6987 ...As it turns out, your statement COMPLETELY checks out! It's 2024 and yes, I AM A LEGEND!
Ain't nothin' like a u t h e n t I c v i e w s when you tryna make it big in the game like them top singers, gettin' that same kinda fame they got. Even Yuna got a piece of that action."
It is a crime that an artist like this is not recognised for her art! 2 people singing the most beautiful song without a bikini in sight. We need more in 2021 and beyond!!
This is the song I played for my great granddaughter. I would take her in front of the mirror and dance with her. She is now 16 months and whenever this song is on she smile and put her arms out for me to pick her up. Memories I will always have. I love you everly
Ebony Walker True! What I got from my own search is brilliant indie musics and sometimes the mainstream-but-awesome-in-my-head musicians. I am a lyricist and my boyfriend is an indie musician. What I tried to say is world music industry is giving those booty musics and videos a huge room these days and for commercial reason they fill people's heads with that kind of song repetitively in radios, TV, public spaces. That's why I always bring my earphones everywhere, they are my savior :D Oh, and Yuna is always on my playlist.
This cut is soft, smooth, sensual, classy, sweet, and just about perfect. Both Yuna and Mr. Raymond look and sound great. The black & white effect works for the video and the lyrics make me smile. Yes, I dig this one, Baby!
I lost the love of my life last week from this damn virus. This is one of the songs on my playlist for him. We knew each other since Highschool and I had a crush on him. Years later we found our way to each other. We didn't get enough time together. This song evokes Exactly how it felt being with him. How happy my heart was.
In a world where female artists leverage their nakedness to whip up support for a video, this is proof that talent, heart & pure ingenuity r the indispensable ingredients of a good song...
Did y'all know she wrote this and send it to usher hoping he'll feature on it ? It's so beautiful Edited : Omg i came back a year later and found this post blew up ! Thank you all for the likes much appreciated 🙏🏽 im glad it helped give an insight to alot of you about this particular song of her ♥️
She introduced me to this song back in 2016, told me this song reminded her of me. Broke up with me couple months later. It's 2024 I still listen to this song cus even after 8 years, this is the only thing I have left of hers. 💔💔
I love how Yuna really respects herself and her image. Her music, talent, and vocals are everything. the chemistry with her & Usher in this video was perfect. Without them even being sexual or affectionate. This is good music ❤️✨
😊 I'm Indonesian and I say stop the hate 😊 be positive. She's representing Asians, south East Asians, women who chose to dress modest, women who wear headscarves, women who are soft but strong and Muslims. How many ppl are grateful 😊 see the light in the dark
This song's so clean and lovely, I love her modesty hope she never changes that cause it's truly a good look and most r&b singers should really try and model this example.
This song is honestly refreshing to hear. I don't have anything against the more raunchy songs out there, but it'd be nice if they played more songs like this one on the radio from time to time especially when I have family in the car.
Lauren hill!!! Game change. Enlightenment bestowed!! None the less, I agree!! She has what should be not seen as focus, but focused. Definitely not misrepresented
2023 and just found out about this lovely beautiful amazing woman individual with a magnificent voice… surprised that RU-vid didn’t recommend this before!!! Wow media is rigged Yuna you should be more famous than all you are amazing. Call me a fan ❤😊
She's a beauty. After listening to this song for 4 years, I just found out she was Malaysian.I thought she was a mixed black girl. And she definitely confused me with the head wrap and bamboo earrings.
I swear THIS is the BEST video EVER made. I absolutely love the simplicity of the love story being told & shown. Video uses everyday ppl in their everyday elements. No glitz, no glam, no tweaking, no nudity & half dressed women degrading themselves. I absolutely love how it was decided to use a little girl in her natural state (hair included) & looking her age. I love the older gentleman in his natural state as well. I just hv NOTHING bad to say about this song nor video. I have it on repeat 2day as I dress to go see Kindred Family Soul and it has me in a zone. Great collaboration, great story, just GREAT, GREAT & MORE GREAT.
Goz-B Bubex I'm not mocking her religion,i'm just proud to be a Malaysian that's all i said,if you want to call me anything bad that's fine,BUT don't you dare mock our religion being Muslims!
This makes me feel like a teenager again and how fitting that they added the kids to the video. It also incorporates how I feel about my husband 13 years later and how I hope To feel about him 20 years from now! Everything ❤
finally found this song after 5 years. I listened to this song in 2016 on the radio for one time. but I didn't know the title of this song. i searched but still didn't find it. and now in 2021, today, 27th March I finally found it.
With all the technology at your hand I think it's a bit weird to spend 5 years to find a song. I mean you could have written just la la la and found the song within seconds. I really want to know if you took 5 years finding this song because you had a nokia 3310 all this time or because of a lack of genuine interest.
I heard she was Muslim? If so I love her even more because I am Muslim myself and we as Muslims are not shown in a good light and she representing Islam beautifully
****** this is going to be long. But it’s fine. I’ve been born and raised a Muslim, and I’ve never heard such a thing. But I’m going to state things about how women are gifted more than men. In the Quran, there’s a whole chapter dedicated to The Virgin Mary and another dedicated to women. Also, in our beliefs, the heavens lies beneath your mother’s feet. There’s a Hadith also of a mans who asks our prophet. “A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Messenger of God! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship? The Prophet said: Your mother. The man said, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man further asked, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man asked again, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your father.” But aside from these, we believe that both men and women are equal in God’s sight. Like I said, I’m Muslim and never was treated like I’m irrelevant bc I’m a woman or as someone who has half a brain of a man. But to answer your other question, yes. Islam cares about humanity. Islam taught us to be kind to others no matter what color, religious, or cultural background you have. So, here are things that Islam teaches us ever since we were kids. Greeting people, doesn’t matter if I don’t know you, I can still say salaam alaikum (peace be upon you) we believe that this increases love and respect between each other. Make prayer about others in private. If you help someone, Allah or God, helps you. Supplicating for someone is a beautiful way to help others. Asking them what they’re struggling with and assisting them. Giving charity is a huge thing in Islam. It doesn’t have to be with money. it can be with food, clothes, etc; If you see litter pick it up. Taking care of our environment is also important I’m Islam. By picking up a can or a piece of plastic from the ground could potentially protect someone. Feeding animals. Islam advocates that the rights of animal are honored. Visiting the sick. It’s a beloved act of worship to Allah. We often forgot the vulnerable and distress whilst in pursuit of daily endeavors. Take some time and go visit a sick family member, friend, neighbor, or even someone who you don’t know who doesn’t have anyone coming to visit them. There are many things in Islam but this is just the base of it. Each one of them represents an act of humanity. Humanity towards people, animals, and environment. If you still have questions, I’m here to help. Have a nice day!
To actually have this feeling a smitten feeling. When you don't have the words on how you feel and this song HITS 🎯 It!! I sooo have a crush right now OMG praying it's real 🙏
I remember hearing this song for the first time and being blown away! Yuma’s voice is so beautiful and can be listened to all day! Usher also gave an awesome performance and I truly love this song.
Woww first time hearing this. RU-vid suggestion knew exactly what I needed. This feels like a breath of fresh air. Voice of an angel. More...more... More please.
@@sonamathabathi5979 my sincerest apologies your, "Dictionary Dictatorship". How could I be so careless; to overlook my spelling on a RU-vid comment? Now I can continue my lifes work knowing that; should I ever misspell a word, you'll be there to correct me. 🙃
