That glorious step sequence, the boundless emotions, the whole body commitment to the choreography, the way she performs the dance like an actual sophisticated tango, and the ability she has to draw the audience in with one look.... Adios Nonino was perhaps the finest program ever choreographed for Yuna Kim in the history of figure skating and it did not deserve this unjust ending.
i think she skated to this program to mock ISU and the future of skating. HAHAHHAHAHAH. AND IT WORKED. You know i bet Alla Scheaterskova watches this everyday.
We can truly understand why she used this song for her last performance as a professional figure skater. The more u replay her performance, the more u can feel the sorrow, melancholy and her heartfelt thanks to people who keep supporting her no matter what
No I don't understand why she chose this song. In fact, I think she chose the wrong piece which resulted in costing her the gold medal, given the Russian reception. She could've celebrated her finale and the Olympics at the sane time, but only chose to celebrate her retirement from the sport, and the Russian judges didn't care about that.
The fact that how gracefully she handled everything in the end after the score announcement really showcased her off-ice charm. She simply laughed when she saw her score because she knew it would happen. It is heart breaking for us to see that...
As a girl grew up in Japan, I was cheered for Mao, but yuna has QUEEN quality now that I watch it almost 10 years later. Mao’s skating was so innocent and pretty, and I loved that, but I’m glad that now I can appreciate Yuna’s beauty. What an era 🥺
as a someone who used to do ballet, that took so much fking effort to perfect that no one can convince otherwise... its crazy, each pose movement everything practiced amd perfected, talent can start you somewhere but perfect discipline gets you to where yuna kim is
Не верится, что прошло уже почти 10 лет! А такого потрясающего баланса техники, артистизма и чемпионских качеств я до сих пор больше ни у кого не видела.
Yuna Kim’s skating is beautiful and powerful! And timeless. Even six years later, I can still feel that energy! Yuna deserves all the love and respect that she has received from everyone in her lifetime! For she truly continues to move peoples’ hearts! She has moved mine. Aloha 😊😊❤️❤️🌸🌸👑👑🤙🏼🤙🏼
1000000% agree, this and send in the clowns i think we’re better than her Vancouver skates by a mile. Maybe less technical but the artistry can’t compare
The biggest steal ever. Fake 'silver' for this is like saying 'you don't matter', 'everything you worked for and did so well doesn't matter'. At least in Vancouver they judged fairly so she got her gold. What remains is artistic impression that is above all ordains and medals. Brava, Kim!
She makes it looks so easy… meanwhile if I even attempted half of this routine I’d probably end up in a full body cast from breaking multiple bones lmao. She truly is iconic and they did her so dirty at the Sochi olympics.
You should listen this version of the song (with Piazzolla himself playing bandoneón), is more emotional: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VTPec8z5vdY.html
Salud!
In 2018 fall... the season has started though.... am still thinking what keeps me bring here........ Obviously.... u r the truth.... of that sport... Thank you queen yuna.
Que maravilla ser Argentina y estos talentos. Tenemos la posibilidad de terminar con los k. No desaprovechemos esto. Mas abajo no hay Argentina de mi vida ❤❤ somos campeones
