Man this got me feeling homesick for my city.. The way it used to be!! Crime was always in the city but you didn't worry about it unless you chose to be in it.. Now the whole country has shipped all their criminals to Atlanta.. I'm glad to see Fulton DA Willis doing her part to bring Atlanta back
I'm a female that moved here in 99. I was never scared of Atlanta how I am now at times. You'd hear of crime, of course, but like you said...you definitely had to be in those circles. Now its everywhere smh
This is definitely my home, from Living off and 2nd Avenue , and Then in Kirkwood and going to “Metro Chruch” when I stayed at my cousins crib in “Capital Homes” on the weekends. Or visiting my grandma in Machanicsville and my sister in Four seasons. I’ve seen all these places change. I saw Katrina bring a whole different energy to our city. And it’s only gotten worse. We had our share of issues, but it wasn’t what it is now for sure.
No one wanna be themselves NYC wanna be L.A. now AtL wanna be the Chi. Reminds me of just like Compton. We gotta also be more vigilant to watch for the corrupt officials who would taint our waters.
Isn’t Skooly a crip, Jeezy a crip, Gucci Man a blood🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ They definitely gang bang in the A. The city has already been taken over by out of towners, and y’all let it happen.
Perfect timing for this track. Moved here in 2014 with my fam from Chicago and I see there’s been a major up tick in violence on all levels. We live a peaceful life here on the south side and enjoy our neighborhood, although it can be boring at times but it’s a good city. Atlanta has a lot to offer but on a serious note, the crime rate is rising high. Much love to the A🙏🏾💪🏾
Im from da 478 but i lived in Atlanta and I can say the city definitely aint the same i used to always be wit my family from da east to west....back before they tore down mechanicsville.. techwood and all the other housing projects bring bk Da REAL A

I shed real tears listening to this .. being from here and seeing how things are now is just sad I would have never imagine I could lose my life just minding my business pumping my gas 😢
Finally a song the hood will love and has a good message! Disagreements don't have to result in shootings and fights ... Black ppl we can do so much better! No other group destroy each other like we do #ATLUnited. We keep this shit up we will be the next Chicago and New Orleans
Every group of people harm each other, that part of your statement is wrong! It's all about education, access to weapons and economics, look anywhere on Earth. If you have poor people without education getting guns then you have relentless killing. You must also look at white supremacy because there isn't one corner of the Earth not impacted by this wicked system!
Yea they do other groups do each other dirty they take each other's lives all the time I get the message to saying but a lot of yall not been in contact with other groups of people, so you don't know this So you are just parrot what you heard another person to say?
We use to pride ourselves about old Atlanta because we didn't have this many young people dying . The youth generation was influenced by too much that's not Atlanta. Put the guns down and show love young generation .
What happened to Atlanta ? They're trying to replace Atlanta culture / history with something the natives aren't going for. And too many out of Towner's coming out here trynna bring other shit out here that don't belong. But we slowly getting back to the old Atlanta days. The crime is gonna continue until the old Atlanta days are back.#Zone3
Also, there is no major push with the music anymore. Maybe its a blessing in disguise that the labels aren't scouting for artists like that, but I think its interesting they appear to be backing away from rap music as the inner cities are being gentrified.
All my Grady babies over this way just up’d the likes on this one I still see we got all these damn Immigrant in this comment section I don’t even know why they speaking if they don’t fuck with it ain’t for these fools anyways 🤣
People have always moved to Atlanta it seems. Its the Hollywood industry that has moved here and messed it up. Hollywood has never been known for anything good and now that industry is deep in Atlanta.
Naw fr shawty what happened to my city it's not how it used to be I still rep my zone 3 thomasville heights shawty shout out to da whole Atlanta naw fr shawty❤️💯🤞
