A group or artist who hasn’t established a career yet, can literally end their career with a pregnancy. It’s unfair that it’s a plight specific to women entertainers, but pregnancy is a condition specific to women. Anyone who cares about the success of their artist and believes in their talent is going to be concerned about a pregnancy. Especially when it’s dropped on you 5 months in, and you aren’t able to develop a plan or predict recovery etc.
