Best show right now. One of the most entertaining episodes of tv that I’ve ever watched. I’ll watch repeatedly. That said, as a huge Wheel of Time fan, I’m reluctant to give Amazon too much credit. I guess I’ll give them credit for getting the hell out of the way for these creators to make this phenomenal show and a handful of others.

I don't think he has DID at all. To me it is just a visual representation of an inner monolog. Homelander views himself as superior to everyone else and never seemed to form a real emotional bond with another person. He has no one he can be honest with or confide in. It is only natural he would only have himself to work through his issues. Now I am no way saying that he is a mentally balanced, well adjusted person. However I view that scene the same way I viewed Butcher's when he saw Homelander and his brother in the TV. Which is a creative choice made to represent the character's internal conflict in a visual medium.

Holy shit. I loved Banshee, and never put it together that Homelander and Hood were the same cat. Thanks for pointing that out. I don’t agree with your overall point. It is not more violent than this, but it has its own particular flavor of violence that is worth well worth a watch if you like The Boys.

She took like 20 shots from a big guy to an almost life ending wound in her stomach. If there wasn't something going on with her powers still, it's a huuuuge stretch for her to live through that lol. Solider boy being able to permanently erase powers feels way too op.

@@fullmetalb5241 Well, that would be true of most fights in television. The superhero genre is even more lenient in regard to this, with many skilled, but regular humans taking hits from super-powered individuals and leaving unscathed. I'd say Kimiko's beating wasn't really that outside of the usual for such genre. Even then, I think it's too soon to know whether Soldier Boy's blast does take powers away permanently. It's been just a couple of days, looks like.
