Yuqi and Minnies argument was actually really neat to listen to since I've been learning a bit of Mandarin and they were speaking basic stuff and repeating it. So funny too I love them.
I love that Yuqi helps Shuhua when she needs it 💕 Also love that their group is the only one where members speak Chinese with each other, most groups either don't have more than 1-2 foreigner members of different origins or the members are Japanese so I hear Japanese sometimes, but it's much more rare with other languages like Chinese 💯
correct and for Izone and Twice their Japanese members are from the Tokyo to Kagoshima via Osaka Shinkansen line. NCT foreign American ORD Johnny YVR Mark Lee HKG Lucas BKK Ten TPE/DUS Yangyang
This video made me happy because I always have to read captions when watching K-pop videos, but the fact that I can just listen and not needing to read captions makes me feel so happy, thanks unnie
4:42 actually they not talking about that kind of dumplings of the picture. They are talking about another kind of them made of glutinous rice and wrapped with some kind of leaves. Traditionally eaten in the festival😊😊 Very nice video +1 Like
correction: at 4:41, they're not saying they want dumplings, but rather zongzi, which is a type of food that chinese people eat during dragon boat festival
actually when shuhua and yuqi were on vlive talking about eating dumplings , their actually “zongzi” and not dumplings. “jiaozi” is dumplings and “zongzi” are zongzis 😃 just telling not hating 😃😃😃 fun fact: normally meat are rapped in some dough to make dumplings but rice plus maybe some beans then rapped in some type of leaf things that you take off when your about to eat it is what zhongzis are. it forms kinda like a triangle shape. i normally like the normal ones just with rice and dipped in sugar 😃😃 tastes very good !
Yes but people like to call 粽子 “rice dumpling” in English, even though they also call 汤圆 this 🤦♂️ maybe glutinous rice dumpling is a better name, I’ve seen both
Add to the fact: every region has different filling of jiaozi. Every region either eats sweet or salty zongzi. My family is from southern China so I’ve had salty zongzi (at least that’s what my family makes every year) my entire life, I didn’t even know about sweet ones. Even tangyuan some do salty filling and some do sweet filling, I love sweet filling.
I can hear Mandarin Taiwanese dialect vs Beijing Dialect Mandarin. For the written part Taiwanese Mandarin uses Traditional Chinese text but Bejing uses simplified text. For Shuhua her mandarin can be written in CLC Elkie NCT Lucas Loona Vivi Traditional Chinese Hong Kong script just like a Taiwanese Cathay Pacific flight attendant does
Okay the dumpling they mention is not those dumpling, is Zongzi , rice dumpling, zongzi make by wrapping glutinous rice and fillings in leaves of reed or bamboo, forming a pyramid shape.
Im pro at chinese here is a sentence of chinese: 早上好,今天你要吃什么? zǎoshànghǎo,jīntiānnǐyàochìshénme? IT means Good morning , what would you like to eat today?
@@Proteus-zb6qv I'm pretty sure that's like the type of dumpling with the wrap made of rice vs sticky rice ball. Also if so then it should be rice dumpling and not just dumpling ^^
The Iconic Sofa and Chocolate argument looks so hilarious especially that yuqi were so close to the camera and minnie was in the back just wanted to say that incident because of yuqi's fault while at the same time looking like she's stress because of it😂
Omg i just know my Minnie can speak Chinese. Just wonder how many languages she can speak? Thai, Korean, Chinese, English. I don’t know more else but 4 are already great 😭👍🏼
We call Zongzi dumplings too... Duan Wu Festival is also known as dumpling festival or dragon boat festival , and everyone eats dumplings with braised meat and chestnuts in them. Yes Jiaozi is also dumplings, but a different kind of dumpling. After all, dumplings come in many shapes and sizes.
the only chinese movie i have watch is jackie chan, ip man and historical theme. Maybe that why everytime i heard chinese talking it felt like they about to fight
at 4:44-4:47 they arent talking abt dumplings lol, its a traditional type of cake ish thing that is made with sticky rice and different fillings, in mandarin it is 粽子(Zongzi):)) no hate btw just wanted to say haha but idk if it is considered dumplings in english but as a chinese I wouldnt say so sooo ye
The translation is wrong they didn’t say dumplings they said something else in Chinese idk what it is called but it like rice wrapped in banana leaf that why she said wrap it yourself and you don’t actually wrap dumplings and dumplings aren’t supposed to have red bean paste
This is why we need open immigration those like me who can only understand 2 to 3 languages are at a disadvantage when someone is fluent in 25 languages. 🤯
