Yuri Lowenthal Reveals SPIDER-MAN’S GREATEST VILLAIN!!! 

This man single handily made me rethink everything I knew about Spider-Man. 🤯

I feel like Aunt May and Uncle Ben’s quotes are two halves of Spider-Man. Uncle Ben’s quotes pushes Peter to use his power to save as many people as he possibly can and focus the great power he has towards helping others. Aunt May’s quote reminds peter that no matter how much power he has he cannot save everyone so he needs to focus on what he can do and not shoulder too much responsibility that would eventually crush him. Cause even helping one person (like miles) can help way more people.

This is why we NEED writers, actors, directors that love the source material, characters and understand them working in these types of projects.

Man, Yuri really went deep with this. And now, I just love the character probably even more than I ever have.

I met Yuri and Nadji at Megacon in February and I got my suit signed by Nadji, I gotta say, it was a dream come true meeting them in person, Yuri is the best voice actor of Spidey.

That spectacular spider-man episode comes to mind when dealing with his inner consciousness. The venom symbiotes corruption was fueled by Petes inter conflict with uncle Bens curse.

Perfectly sums up his character, the amount of passion Yuri Lowenthal has is on a whole different level!

Man, when you look at it that way, Uncle Ben caused Peter more pain than any of his rogues gallery ever wished they could. Unintentionally, of course. Yuri is awesome! Love the guys work as Spidey!

You can really tell that Yuri is a deep rooted Spider-Man fan. Ive watched many interviews that Yuri has been in and this man LOVES Spider-Man. This character means so much to so many of us and im so grateful for Yuris deep appreciation of this character and the way he has captured Spider-Man for us in these Spectacularly Amazing games

Truly the greatest version of the character. There’s been many great takes on Spider-Man but there’s something about Insomniac’s/Yuri’s version that just makes me think this is the best take ever. I am so invested in Insomniac’s universe for Marvel and I can’t wait for more 👍

I definitely would have been fine if either Spider man 1 or 2 won goty because they would have earned it And Yuri would have deserved best performance for any of those years unfortunately he was fairly beated

He explained it so perfectly. And I'm pretty sure Pete even said, at one point in the games (I think when he was fighting Wraith in Spider-Man 2), that he can't save everyone. He's aware that for every person he saves, there's gonna be at least one or two people that he doesn't. That's just a hell of pill to swallow when being a superhero. Doesn't mean that there's no point in saving people; its quite the opposite in fact. If anything, the people he saves, or the people any superhero saves, might be inspired to save others- even though they don't have super powers, they can still do something to make a difference in someone else's life. Hence "You help someone, you help everyone." I'm not sorry for typing out a whole essay on a minute long YT short. I'm having a good day and I'm about to demolish a whole pepperoni pizza by myself, so yeah 😁

So in depth….well thought out yuri thank you for your voice, talent, and the characters you brought to life. ESPECIALLY Spider-Man

This is honestly such a great new philosophical angle on Spider-Man for me. Aunt May’s quote relieves as much pressure as it can. Though, of course, Peter will always be inclined to help as many people as he can, to his own detriment, if he feels like he has to.

Peter in these games has suffered a lot his first loss were his parents. His second loss was uncle Ben his third loss was May but I still think Harry will return in Spider Man 3. That’s why I didn’t say he was Peter’s next loss because Harry is in a coma right after the venom fight

Ah, so that's why we never get to see uncle ben or hear his quote (I think). It's always, when you save someone, you save everyone. This just gave me a whole new perspective to appreciate this game.

and uncle Ben's saying was "When you kill someone, you kill everyone" because his death is the reason Peter became Spider-Man, and Spider-Man is the reasom multuple civilians died because of the supervillains
