I’ll admit “Rise Up” isn’t a song I would have attributed to Victuuri or YOI in general until I saw this amv, and now I can’t deny how fitting it is. Now I’m super hyped to go ice skating even though I can’t skate worth a darn lol.

I love this AMV - it's helping me get over my dissatisfaction with the ending. (Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but I wanted unambiguous verbal recognition that they were in a romantic relationship, in addition to the absolutely wonderful symbolic pair skating. ::sigh::)
But there's going to be a season 2! And the creator confirmed that yes they kissed and are together :) I'm sure things will be made more "official" in season 2 :)
Crossing my fingers for season 2! I'm of the mindset that "the creator said" doesn't count for much - it needs to be in the work itself. Yuri on Ice came so close to saying "these characters are a couple" that the decision not to go that last step or two was actually painful for me. I still haven't been able to bring myself to rewatch the series since finishing the last episode.

This was amazing! I don't like sports that much so I don't really like sports anime but Yuri on Ice just blew me away! I love this anime and it's one of my favs I hope there's a season 2
