Gamboa should of started his pro career at 115 then jump to 118 then 122 then permanently stayed at 126. He could of had a successful career 130 and 135 is way too much for him
Gamboa had to show him early, establish from the top, I'm taking your reach advantage away from you by fighting you on the inside. Or taxing you everytime you step to me. He was entertaining even in the amateurs. His name should most definitely make it to the hall of fame.
I love Gamboa but I feel so sad for Jérôme Thomas who have a lot of problems and never success in the professionnal. But anyway for us in France he is still the best amateur champion in history.
