The first time i heard one of his talks was 5 years ago, xmas eve and as a christian. "How Jesus lead me to islam" i recall was the title. He put some serious doubts in me that eventually resultet in me becoming muslim a few months later. May Allah swt give him the reward of inspiring me to seek out the truth.

Some truth to Social media "If you're not paying for the product, you are the product."

I'm Indonesian and, like many Indonesian, I born from a Muslim family. It's only from the past 10 years or so that I can say I'm Muslim because I choose to be. And to be honest, the biggest inspiration for that comes from those who convert (my mom was a convert too!), and this brother Yusha Evans is a huge part of it... May Allah SWT bless him and this channel as a whole. Assalamu'alaikum.

As a person thinking of converting to Islam, this was really informative especially the last question for new muslims which is questions I fight with myself at this time I do feel really scared that I would have to take this journey, all by myself and it makes me more at ease with choosing the right path for me thank you so much for this great conversation.

His statement about the muslim community being the most judgemental, unforgiving and harsh community in the world is 100% correct and even more, they have a telescope on everyone else but never looks at their own flaws.

This guy is genuine, i have been following him, he has some sort of rebellious peace kind of feeling, i could connect to what he is saying.

mashallah, i totally agree with ust Yusha Evans about social media. i took social media break for almost 2 months, and instead of feeling lonely and bored for being relatively disconnected, in fact I feel more alive, productive, and my heart is so full, alhamdulillah. i think its important to reconnect and reattach our heart back to Allah.

Quit social media (besides RU-vid) years ago. Best decision I made. alhamdulilah

One of the most hard hitting podcasts I've listened to in a while. Feels especially relevant. We hear a lot about utulising social media for Dawah and the benefits of pointing someone towards good being as if you have done it yourself but we do not hear about the negatives as much. I agree that when we view social media we should ground ourselves first in the knowledge that it isn't reality. If we view it through that lens, it will not affect the soul as much.

This was amazing Ma Sha Allah Social Media is indirectly training our brains to seek out validation from other people. For example, if we post a pic on facebook and no one likes it, will our self esteem get affected by it?

I totally disagree with letting your kids make mistakes. I was brought up as a free kid my father would tell me smoking is bad for me I was 12 and he never been firm with me. Because of that as a foolish kid I did a lot of mistakes I wish I never done! yes, I matured I learned hugely from my mistakes but I wish I was lashed like some of my friends I grew up with I would have been more responsible they became more mature and responsible in a very young age and I had to go and struggle and learn it the hard way.

I can relate to brother yusha. Too much socialisation is sometimes overwhelming. I'm like i have to delete all my social media accounts but its so difficult once you get caught into it. It helps us in one way for studies, business and so on but it drives us crazy at times and thats so exhausting.

Every thing uttered by Brother Yusha hitted me . This is for the second time I am hearing him. I don't know how I didn't came across him and his videos. But every part of the interview is worth reflecting

You have to have a balance in your life.

The nature of people is to idolise. All public speakers should take their examples from the scholors that are alive and dead. They need to teach the deen when speaking in public and not get to involved in discussing social issues. Keep the one to one problems at that. Let those who ate going through a problem go to Q n A for their answers. And for being the most judgmental than any other religion. I thank Allaah for Allowing this religion to enjoying the good and forbid the evil. All the other religions have gone astray because no one says anything. And his right about social media, it's the worst thing that could have happened to us. So many lives and homes are wrecked because of it. May Allaah guide us all on the truth and the straight path.

Thanks for the interview The host should ask questions that help the guest to elaborate on the issues he is discussing, not interrupting the guest’s train of thoughts by adding his own stories, etc.

This is a great interview. Some constructive criticism though: while the interviewers questions and points were great, he was too eager to speak. This lead him to cut off Evans on more than one occasion.

I would like to say that I did enjoy listening to this video. I did agree with some of the comments of Yeshua Evan's. I am irish and was brought up catholic but no longer practice any religion as I find the claims of religion hard to believe. However, would say if being a Muslm makes you a caring loving human being and brings peace into your life, then be a muslim. However ,I would say also if being a catholic,protestant, jew hindu or Buddhist makes you a caring, compassionate,loving human being and brings joy and peace to you then be catholic, protestant, jew, hindu or Buddhist. Growing up in ireland I have seen the results of religious sectarianism and quite frankly I have come to hate religious sectarianism.

Brother, evil eye is real but after we say our athkaar and having tawkkol in Allah we shouldn’t be worried or paranoid about being struck with it.. i am not saying go post all of your glittering blessings for the world to see, i just mean that we should be scared of it.

I think a big part of being a public speaker in Islam is integrity and accountability That is why followers are driven to the point of being intrusive into other peoples personal lives Take for example the science of Hadith collection, and categorising hadith into authentic and weak narrations If there was not such scutiny into the hadith narrators lives then the entire science would be unreliable Its one of those catch 22 situations where you cannot have something without having to bear the consequences Although people should also understand that there are certain limits that should not be crossed 🤔🤔
