I also believe that yuta was reserve for kenjaku and I am not complaining. Kenjaku was cunning and it was perfect for yuta’s intelligence. I love how gege used the entire cast not just focusing only on the ML. There’s a big possibility that kenjaku will absorb sukuna when they successfully pull out megumi. If higuruma tries to weaken sukuna rather than going for the flat out death penalty (perhaps due to a lack of concrete evidence) then sukuna can probably beat both their asses without even needing his CT.

I do believe a good ending for Yuji and Megumi would be them both dying killing Sukuna. Yuji waking Megumi soul up and having him fight internally against Sukuna while Yuji fights him physically. Yuji taking a fatal blow as Megumi gives him a opening to kill Sukuna with both dying together. The swapping the story to Yuta going and finishing the fight with Kenjaku more motivated then ever to avenge his fallen friends and teachers.

Even if Sukuna isn't a debater, he, while in Megumi's body had insane physical prowess. Someone who is not a physical prodigy like Yuji, and now with Sukuna in his natural four-armed, two-mouthed, and two-eyed state even without his abilities he would be able to fare significantly better than Yuji did when we were introduced to Higuruma. Sukuna's body is specifically designed to eliminate exhaustion from using cursed techniques, and would clearly break his physical limits had he not had double arms, eyes, and mouths. This brings me to my next theory, which is that Higuruma's purpose is to expose Sukuna. This is a very intelligent way to lore-drop Sukuna's past, who he is, and where he came from. This could also expose what happened to Sukuna and what circumstances led up to him being sealed, who did it, and how it was done. This could help the main characters figure out Sukuna's weakness, reseal him, or just outright kill him.
