Kashimo is the most overhyped dude in the series. He is quite literally Ryu level. He claims he is the strongest from his time but somehow didn't fight at least 3 confirmed powerhouses from his era. He didn't fight the leader of gojo and zenin clans and he didn't fight Ryu. Ryu probably didn't even know he existed because we know Ryu is as battle hungry as kashimo is, if he knew about kashimo he would have still tried to fight him even as an old man. These are a few points to those who for some reason still doubt and some of the brain dead arguments in the comment section. TLDR: Kashimo is strong but some of the arguments people make as to why he wins fights are stupid. He is not leagues above the rest of the top tiers like gojo and sukuna are. He struggles against most of them and loses to a handful. 1. Kashimo doesn't have a domain and loses to most people with a domain (higurama, yuta, hakari, yorozu, kenjaku) 2. Kashimo's domain defense is horrible. It's hollow wicker basket and we find someone with higher CE and higher output than him in sukuna still needs to make the hand sign against a domain of yuta's strength. He would get cooked then since unlike sukuna he doesn't have four hands. 3. He does not have rct. Literally almost every top tier in the verse has some form of rct. Common arguments from kashimo fanboys: 1. "He just blows off x, y and z's head with a lightning bolt". No he doesn't. He needs to engage in h2h with people to place the charges on them. He won't be able to do that against people like Uro who can just parry all his physical attacks with sky manipulation and get no charge on herself. Or Ryu whom if he tried to engage in h2h might straight up get annihilated since Ryu can punch as hard as his granite blast (only reason Yuta survived was because he has massive amounts of CE, higher than gojo and way higher than kashimo and more output than kashimo not to mention rct to heal damage. Something kashimo cannot do). I only listd 2 but you can go on as to why he doesn't realistically blow a lot of top tiers heads off with lightning. 2. "Kashimo speed blitz". Kashimo using his CT scales to sukuna in terms of speed. Anyone sukuna cannot speed blitz, kashimo also can't. Sukuna was unable to blitz yuta. So anyone that scales to yuta will not get blitz by kashimo. Someone like higurama was able to activate domain amplification to defend against sukuna's slashes that had already been launched while being unable to see them. Kashimo is literally never speed blitzing him. 3. "Kashimo has way better physicals", no he doesn't. Ryu straight up has better physicals than kashimo even when he is using his CT. Sukuna mention ryu when he thinks of toughness to cut. This means Ryu probably has the best CE reinforcement out of all of them. CE reinforcement is quite literally responsible for physical ability in jjk unless you have some form of heavenly restriction. So again anyone who scales around Ryu in physicals, kashimo doesn't simply out stat. 4. "Kashimo can win against domain users", kashimo loses to almost every domain that is sure-hit and sure-kill. This would mean he loses to domains from gojo, sukuna, kenjaku, yuta, mahito, curse naoya, yuki (I'm adding her because kenjaku while fighting her contemplates if he can even win a domain battle against her, and she only ends up not using it because she trusts tengen), and yorozu. He would literally even lose to domains like higurama's and even if he uses his CT hakari's. He was unable to kill hakari in hakari's domain with hakari basically mitigating all the damage he inflicts. Kashimo's CT simply makes him more proficient at killing(something that simply won't work on hakari). Even with his CT, a match up with hakari depends on environment and how many times hakari can get a jackpot. If hakari keeps getting jackpots then kashimo loses, if there is water nearby advantage to hakari. In fact the only way hakari loses is if he doesn't get a jackpot(which might not even be possible, every single time hakari has opened his domain in the series he has gotten the jackpot. EVERYTIME) 5. "Kashimo can shock people on every attack". No kashimo can shock people with low output on every attack. He clearly states that hakari in jackpot has a high enough CE output to completely ignore the shock property. So anyone with similar or higher CE output would do the same. So Ryu, sukuna, gojo, yuta etc.

The problem woth Kashimo is that Gege never cared about him enough to show us his full arsenal, while spoonfeeding Yuta all buffs known to man. Kashimo never takes enough damage to warrant the use of RCT, for example. And considering how Sukuna went all in in his fight with him and used the most over the top dimentional slash we've ever seen on Kashimo, he never showed if he had a domain or not (using it on Sukuna was the only way he would had shown one). Also considering Sukuna had a literal Lightning rod in his hand to help him avoid Kashimo's beams when he couldnt dodge em, and him seemingly chanting faster than light (also seen as how Gojo allegedly didnt dodge the world dismantle) realoy goes to show how Gege straight up assasinated the character for the sake of rushing the plot, rather than giving him a real fight. Yuta scaling using in the vid is also unfair, since he was specifically spoonfed clairvoyance and Jacob's ladder for his fight with Sukuna, and all of his important feats on Sukuna are displayed inside his own domain (making his attacks sure-hits and amping his base stats) and that same Sukuna states to be at half of his power when he fights Yuta yet doesnt even complain when fighting Kashimo, not to mention Yuta was literally jumping Sukuna in a 1v3 while every hit Yuji landed debuffed Sukuna more and more. Realistically, without Domain Kashimo should win every time unless Yuta uses domain amp to shield the lightning and wave beams, and since Jacob's ladder didnt even kill sukuna both times it was used, i doubt it'll cook Kashimo that easly (not that it cant just that i'll take more than 1 hit) . We never saw Kashimo fighting properly in the entire series let alone interacting with a normal domain like Yuta's. But it would be fair to say that inside the domain Yuta has a 7/10 chances od winning since he can just spam techniques left n right while having his stats amped. But only the current Yuta, Sendai colony Yuta gets curve stomp with a 4/10 chance of winning in a domain and 0 chnace outside of it

And that’s only using the techniques that Yuta is confirmed to have, he probably has many others that we just haven’t seen yet

It's very weird because it looked like yuta was doing as well against sukuna in chapter 249 as he was doing against sukuna in chapter 250. Normally, you'd expect a huge difference when sukuna needs to keep hwb so his hands are occupied, yuta can use cts through the swords and yuji is also helping.

This is such recency bias. Kashimo fought a Sukuna actively and seriously trying to take him out. For context, Sukuna used the largest world cutting Dismantle against Kashimo compared to anyone else. Yuta isn't a slouch and would certainly win if he caught Kashimo in his Domain, but so would anyone who's name isn't Sukuna. Even Gojo would lose under these existing circumstances (no counter Domain and only relying on Simple Domain/Falling Blossom/Wicker Basket). No-Domain Yuta is slightly weaker than base Kashimo and Yuta + Rika is still weaker than Mythic Beast Kashimo. Again, Yuta only beats heavy hitters when he's literally tying their hands behind their back and jumping them with friends

Kashimo slaughters. Saying it's inconsistent that Kashimo is faster than Electromagnetic Waves doesn't prove it's inconsistent as there's no outliers. Kashimo in Phantom Beast Amber was shown to blitz Megkuna who could react to Electromagnetic Waves which means Kashimo is faster than light. Kashimo earlier in the fight in base who was relative with Hakari who Yuta said was above himself get's casually blocked and outpaced until he used Phantom Beast Amber which put him on a whole other level. So saying Yuta compares in speed is ridiculous. Kashimo can also just one-shot Yuta no problem meanwhile Yuta would need to open his Domain to do significant damage to Kashimo which Kashimo can just counter with his speed and Hollow Wicker Basket and can just damage Yuta to the point he can't sustain his Domain then go for a killing blow. The interpretation that Yuta put up a better fight against Sukuna get's debunked by Yuta's own statements and the fact Sukuna while after taking multiple punches from Yuji and taking damage from Yuta was able to destroy all three with all those nerfs and one World Bisecting Dismantle shows the levels and that Yuta wasn't comparably at all and if Sukuna wanted he could've ended the fight as soon as it started.

actully kashimo has RCT , now we know that yuta's domain's swords is a phisical things . before that you say , I know I know that nobody except yuta can use the techniques in the swords . but yuta can't control the swords ( like summon it or anyway ) he need to use it by the normal way while kashimo can use the swords & use it to attack yuta with very fast attack & there is infinty swords . & actully kashimo can control the swords like his stick if he charge it by his CE .

Haven't watched the full video yet but id assume its pretty even since kashimo has no domain expansion and sukuna still considered him worthy enough to use his world slash against. I think kashimo would definitely have an advantage before yuta opens his domain. Its also very easy to forget how fast kashimo can dish out grave injuries just because he got the jogo treatment but bros lightning just straight up rips through opponents and when he activated his cursed technique he charged that up in like 3 attacks which is crazy fast for an attack that hits that hard. If yuta doesn't open that domain quick him gonna be in a ton of trouble and rika too considering how hard hitting of an attack his lightning has been shown to be. Also have to remember that Gojo and kashimo both weakened sukuna and everyone else wouldn't even be doing close to as good as they are against him now without them fighting him first.
