@@bettycook29 its funny how NCT is so flexible when it comes to adding members. SM can add members whenever they want and us nctzens are all wanted to have a japanese line, thai line, german line, american line and canada line and its not 100% impossible tho hahahaha
I'm glad that SM debut shotaro in nct because look how happy yuta cause he got japanese sibling in nct...and he finally can talk in japanese with someone. You know yuta's japanese language is worsen
@@nydra8119 he said in a vlive a few days ago, that if he doesn't speak Japanese with the members, he doesn't speak it at all which in turn makes him get confused between the languages whenever he has to (see also JCC Styling video with the panic because Johnny asked him to say "15 minutes" in japanese). And since Taro is still pretty unsure with his korean it's probably less stress for him as well. So WinWin (hehehe) I guess.

The fact that Yuta said he knows the basics of cooking but he doesn't know how to peel an onion and Shotaro adding to it is so adorable and gives me the urge to go there and be the one to teach him how😣😣

Well, as someone who has lived aboard, I think that's a common things to speak more with a language where you're living at, rather than speak with your mother language with someone who has same nationality with you when you live in aboard. Cause sometimes I do that too with my friends, when we lived aboard Sorry for my poor eng
Yeah- I was born in Japan, moved to Australia but now im in France. I struggled for a year or two because I didn’t speak the language or know anything about the culture to blend in, but once I picked it up then it was habit. Even at home where we spoke Japanese, Korean, and Cantonese it was habit to speak in French no matter who it was.
I'm Japanese NCTzen and in my opinion, 2:54 “Abura wa iranneyana…?” this is absolutely Osaka dialect. Shotaro is from Kanagawa which is far from Osaka, so he can't speak it but probably Yuta's habit had worn on Shotaro. That's too cute.
is this how it feels like to not understand a second language + korean? HAHAH they switch between japanese and korean so casually i can't tell if it's korean or japanese when they switch fast?? i can understand and speak mandarin chinese so when wayv/the chinese members switch between korean and chinese i can tell, but with japanese i can't HAHAHAH
@@bbhxx any suggestions? I have a friend who told me that her friend learned to speak and understand Japanese after watching animes and then asked ‘So he learned Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji just by watching anime? I honestly couldn’t believe it.
@@you_know_me8218 chileeee do not use anime to learn japanese. it’ll save you the embarrassment if you ever talk to a native speaker, trust me 💀the phrases in anime are often times exaggerated and not what would be said in a regular japanese conversation!
@@coopa4460 oh thank god that I was not the only one who thought that no one could learn actual Japanese by watching anime. Like how could you expect to learn a language which is so complicated just by watching anime and not actually studying it. I didn’t believe that someone could learn Japanese just by anime. So any suggestions on how to learn it properly?
@@coopa4460 this is true but watching anime can help you practice listening skills. even though it's exaggerated, you will be able to understand basic japanese conversations. Ps. Watch under the Slice of life genre since their convos are more realistic

after yearsssss, yuta finally has a japanese buddy in nct i’m so glad 😭 he seems so happy to be speaking japanese comfortably again, it’s just so nice to see after all these years :’))) yuta x shotaro truly do seem like brothers i love it so much

When yuta speaks japanese with shotaro he really look like a japanese person. İ didn't felt like that before cause he is so good at korean. But seeing them like this makes me happy.
Now that I realize, Yuta is very noticeable that he is Japanese while Shotaro doesn't get so much noticeable that he's Japanese, and think about it that they're both Japanese. Yuta is easily recognizable as Japanese by its eye shape and face shape, while Shotaro looks less Japanese.
I love hearing Yuta speaks Japanese, he sounds mature and handsome (could you say someone talks handsomely???), I could imagine him starring in Japanese doramas aaahhh >
Them talking Japanese is so refreshing to see that it *feels* like watching a 3D Anime. I just discovered NCT last year and as soon as I found out that Yuta is Japanese, i can get off the image of "anime guy" from Yuta 😂 even if he has different hairstyle, fashion and hair color. And Shotaro is just a perfect image of a friendly and vibrant kouhai who usually become the lead actor's bestfriend in some romance anime or J-drama 🤣
