Convo could have gone, "Hey man, we're filming this for a video part and really don't want the footage leaked before the video is released. Would you mind not filming it? If you provide me with your contact info, I can even send you a link to the footage once it's released". Also, when coming down the stairs, after Yuto landed the trick, giving him a high-five or something similar would have been nice; he's the one at the center of it all and just risked his life and limb. Lastly, it sounded as though Yuto requested that they film one more because he clipped the stair and/or hand tapped. The response from the filmer was "Who gives a f*ck, we're taking it". A filmer who wouldn't honor such a request is seriously low quality, as a filmer and as a person.
Nikk Grimes it's more that like I'm sure YH didn't mind, cause having some bystander get clips of you when they're not warranted to be there, considering personal space is like subjective or whatver, especially to a skateboarder travelling at what feels like 70mph, that's what it feels like when you're about to backside bigspin anything the size of Carlsbad gap which this looks exactly like, lol . That he didn't want him there either. But I get what you're saying, but not really
What would be funny is if a cop came and started recording. I record cops all the time, (not really, but I would.) . So what are u trying to say. That he doesn't want his footy spoiled. Spoiled is a bad thing. I don't want to eat spoiled cantaloupe or watermelon, in fact I'd go out of my way to not eat spoiled melons. So why is everyone saying this guy was like being a Nyjah or some shit. I'm just laughing cause of it. And you guys are all hating on him. Y'all are assuming he's a corporate pawn in the skate industry how polite of the youtube comment section to assume like that. But ok.
1:35 The cameraman is so rude, does he seriously think a random beach-goer is going to adjust to the logic that a trick a skater lands needs to be secured until a video-part drops? To him its just a spectacle being done in public that he is curious of - no different than a traffic stop juggler; and then Yuto's cam-man reacts in a way that is seriously uneven to what caused it.
Maybe people should stop thinking they need to record everything out of the ordinary they see every time they go anywhere. Just watch something amazing happening and experience it for once in your entire lifetime without a damn camera stuck in front of your face.
Agreed, can't stop a rando from recording in public. Too inside their own bubble, very unlikely that person's recording in anyway hurts the value of the footage. Relax....
@@sk8n854 so you think the guy literally sticking a camera in the skater's face is entitled to tell the other guy with a camera not to use it? In public? They both doing the same thing I woulda told him to go scratch his ass and then taken a picture of him too be mad fuckin dweeb 🤣🤣
At first I thought it was someone who lived in one of those houses yelling.. lol dude chill out if someone wanted to big spin a 14 stair I think people would want to record it
Joshua Andersen look what up? I don't need to look anything up. I live in America. Here in America you can be filmed in public. And anyone can film anything in public. That's all there is to it. You only need permission if you are using someone on film for profit
Yeaaaahh... I’m all for asking people to not record the trick for the sake of it not being leaked... but with that being said, there’s no other way to ask them politely? Even if they weren’t complying it’s still public property and the way “Dr Purple Teeth” asked the guy was completely out of wack. 👎🏻
Yeah I get that is frustrating having someone else film it but at the end of the day he is doing a trick out in public, if someone want's to film it themselves they can.
Dude just showed the # of times it took to land one. Much respect for the dedication and passion; makes all the failed attempts shown watch worthy for the big picture on how much mental and physical effort it takes to reach your goal in a time where everyone expects things to be just handed to them....props man ✌️
haha right, i was waiting for that angle but it didn't make the clip! aw sucks for that guy. oh well he doesn't give a fuck tho! man i don't even know the filmer at the top of the stairs or anything about him, but all it took was those few seconds in the clip of him acting like a douche bag and then at the end saying fuck it were taking it and not even giving yuto props for landing it, for me to not like this dude or give a shit about him in any sort of way. you suck and you shouldn't be filming skateboarding. go back to film school and try filming rap videos or something.
If you’ve ever bailed that many times down something that big, you won’t feel much besides relief that you don’t have to throw yourself down that thing again lol
Just read a few comments and I have to agree, shame about the bad vibe from the shouting filmer, knobneck! Props to Yuto though, very skilled skater, respect!!
no offense but why are skaters so anal about other people filming. 9 times out of 10 they are probably snap chatting it or posting on their instagram and they only have like 200 followers lmao. not like the clip is going to get leaked to metro skateboarding or anything.
haha no offense taken.... definitely see what your saying......in this case it was some random person trying to film it on an actual camera....not on a phone.
1:40 Public property. Not proprietary. South Bay tough guys. What is it with Manhattan, Redondo, Hermosa, etc and dickheads? Cameraman needs to chill. Kid with his shitty DSLR probably wouldn't have even uploaded it anywhere.
The filmer with the top angle is wack hed prob cry if he wanted one more try and then hed convince him that he cant do a cleaner one lol so he could dip
if it takes you this many trys for sets you are going to be fucked up in a few years. YES I KNOW SKATE TRICKS TAKE A FEW BAILS TO THE HOLY KEYBOARDERS READY TO TYPE BUT IT SHOULDNT TAKE THIS MANY TRYS
I broke both my ankles, tore my ACL, fractured my hip, slipped a disc and dislocated my shoulder just watching this. Additionally my cheek muscles are sprained from cringing at that cameraman
I'm agreeing watching the same Miss too many times it went from watching someone persevere to just being annoying plus over shadowing his extreme talent
If this was how he asked me not to film I would make sure to poach that shit and post it right away hashtag #fuckdrpurpleteeth. Always knew that guy was a kook by his extreme closeup fisheye but I didn't expect some beer-gutted overgrown fratboy with no manners.
Yuto literally went from a nobody to being in Street League within months. Give him some time, Cody has been skating as long as Yuto has been alive probably. Yuto will dominate in a few years trust
Respect, but jeez, wear a helmet. Some of those falls where he fell backwards are cringeworthy, because there's enough force behind the fall that if he hit the back of his head that he could go blind or inflict SERIOUS brain damage
Cheesy Cola so you wouldn’t scream while trying to bigspin for a long time down a 14 stair? and then every time you try it, you hit your spine and head on the cement, you’re telling me you wouldn’t scream?
"uncut" and you telling that after he was on the ground saying "auauaewuwww!" he teleported to be a moving speed about 2 metres from the stair set. uncut means 1 continues clips and there were multiple cuts of video im this youtube video. Please help clean up youtube by not clickbaiting. I was thoughly looking forward to Yuto Horigome walking up those stairs. (__)__)::::::::::::::::D~~~~~
When you walk the line between the real world and the world of shredding and the gnar your realize that the body that you use in this dimension is just a vessel to carry you into further reaches of the possibilities of shredding. A helmet is not necessary here, just a hindrance and a stale reminder of the world of fear...the world in which you obviously live.
