Harari is not a monster, he's simply an individual without empathy because of some psychological deficiency. The monsters are the ones who follow him blindly and execute his advice without questioning and setting in boundaries of own values and beliefs.
I'm pretty sure, Harari has good intentions, but his views, how holistic they might seem to appear, they're mostly too simplistic and lack mapping the complexity of the real world. He's grown up in a region that decided to put itself in complications, that could be one cause for his search for simple solutions.

I believe he thinks he is a God and that he knows everything, the God of knowledge and thinks his word is all that matters. He seems to want to convince us all of this. Most of the information comes from within him, his opinion on how things are and should be. I believe this guy is a danger to humanity and I think people should stop looking at him as the guy who "has all the answers." He believes humans aren't needed. Wow! They plan to replace humans with robots in many sectors. They are getting rid of our food supply chain and already in the process of only making available bugs for us to eat. Overcoming death!! Since it seems deep sleep and death are maybe our only relief from the suffering our mind seems to create as it creates desires to have or not have objects and situations perform as we wish and is always looking outward to find satisfaction/happiness, if we take away death we better get good at suspended animation or extended deep sleep

How telling - good doctor, professor and author advises us all to be ready and alert to constant change, all the fascinating new tech-s, the necessity to update our identity and habits, roll on with the tides, and yet... I disagree that consciousness is feelings. I think consciousness is quite separate from both intelligence and feelings. Feelings are the product of viscera. Consciousness is awareness, the very being of being. I also challenge the idea that humans will become immortal. By definition alone, anything born or created is mortal. But also, while it will no doubt be possible to extend life with the help of technology, I doubt it can be extended indefinitely. I guess we’ll see.

Just saying a continuation of having jobs as a way to keep things “good” implies thinking our present conditions are acceptable or more pacification of the populations by mind occupying task. A bit like slavery? virtual reality is what we create every time we enter dreaming sleep and a continuation begins each time we re-enter the “waking” consciousness being fully convinced we are an individual operating in a physical body and somehow not recognizing we are capable of being aware of both body and mind and that mind creates our world as we project our imaginations on the objects we create.
My guess is that those who can't find another job in the new world of AI and robots will end up seeing a psychiatrist, getting a diagnosis of depression and a full disability pension instead of a paycheck. The government will have to figure out where to get the money for so many disability pensions for psychological problems.
