Yuvraj Singh is an ispiration for everyone. He was the Man of the Tournament in 2011 World Cup. He was suffering from Cancer at that time still he played and led India to a historic world cup win.

Just to let you know that the person who came to speak to Stuart Broad was his captain the coach is not allowed out of the dressing room during play in a cricket team the captain is the most important player on the field he sets the field decide who to bowl from witch end

The bowler who has words with Yuvraj was Andrew Flintoff. Flintoff was a huge personality (nearly drowned at sea during another world cup because he went for a drunken swim at 2am) and liked to mouth off and play mind games. The story is that in the previous over Yuvraj hit an unconventional shot and just before this over FLintoff said to Yuvraj "That was a f**king ridiculous shot", which could have just been a backhanded compliment, but Yuvraj took as an insult. Whether it was meant as an insult or not we will probably never know, but it fired up Yuvraj and the poor bowler was a very young and inexperienced Stuart Broad (who went on to become one of the greatest test bowlers of all time) who had to pay for it.

Some facts about the guy in the video -1st of 2 guys to hit 6 6s in an over -same innings holds the record of fastest half century in international cricket -was crowned player of the tournament in the 2011 odi world cup which India won in Mumbai -he was having shortness of breath reduced stamina and endurance in that world cup and didn't realize until after the tournament that he had cancer.

There's a totally different pleasure of watching left handed Batsmen playing proper cricket shots like cover drives, straight drives,square cut ,pull ,etc. but it's even more special to watch Yuvraj Singh bcz he is the best timer of the ball in the cricket history,you will never find him trying to hit hard he will time the ball so beautifully that it will cover the distance of the boundary too easily he has the smoothest bat Swing ever no one can deny that, if he had not to deal with Cancer he might have become one of the biggest legend in the cricket history ever.

It's very difficult to hit 6 home runs in a row and all balls very different yet Yuvraj Struck him. Since then 6 sixes were repeated like 5 times but all very done in small leagues n with average bowlers. If it were any one else then he could have retired but Broad stood tall now he is the leading wicket taker in Cricketing history. Yuvraj doesn't play for India he is kinda old now. He was diagnosed with Lung Cancer after WC 2011 and he doing well how and played good afterwards*

He led India to win 2 worldcups.T20 wc in 2007 and One day Wc in 2011.He was also the Man of the tournament in Wc 2011.And also he is one of the greatest fielders in International Cricket. You should check his fielding,he has taken some rippers. Absolute legend. One more fact...Yuvraj Singh had cancer when he was playing Wc 2011,but did not tell anyone.He spilled out blood in WC final,and now has fully recovered.

Actually guys u were talking about the ball thrown in air and hitting a six was quite impressive .I knw u guys was talking in perspective of baseball but in cricket those types of balls are like a gifts to a batsmen and they are called fulltoss and are easy to hit rather than balls coming off the ground.(I know these are old recorded videos and u know more about cricket now)

I was watching Ichiro highlights the other day, he would have made an incredible cricketer, his range of shot selections to hit the ball ,along the ground especially, at a ball that was dipping and would have been called a ball is so cricket like.

In cricket, because of ball bounces on ground, weather, grass on the pitch oldness of ball, etc. are important factors. Unlike baseball we cant take a newball everytime(spectators cant keep the ball after a six). New ball is easy to swing. As ball gets old it become easy to spin. In some cases if need to replace a ball umpires select another ball as old as the one used.

Balls thrown in the air without bouncing are the easiest to hit , that normally happens if the ball is wet due to the dew in the playing field and the bowler can't grip it correctly... That was his captian that spoke to him.. Coaches aren't allowed in the playing field

Hey Cody don't feel so sorry for Stuart Broad (The Bowler). He is now the 9th highest international wicket taker of all time with 761 wickets. He is also the 3rd highest wicket taker pace bowler in test cricket.

To hit the ball behind it is important to play the shot late and allow the ball to come near otherwise the ball will always into the square position.
