Yes. He knows. And I kind of think these performances mean more to him than competitions. He loves entertaining people and getting them excited and screaming and happy. He loves being center of attention and giving his audience something they will cherish and talk about. That is his best gift out of all his many talents. It makes people so happy to see him happy. Thank you for this upload. It made my day.
You can tell how much he loves skating with his friends and peers and having a good time working the audience into a frenzy. It's wild. He's a showman.
True. He is exactly who he should be. In all honesty, I don't think he would have reached as many people. I have zero interest in kpop so I never would have found him. Kpop is only popular with a certain age group and demographic. Yuzu has fans of all ages from all over the world because what he does on an ice rink is totally unique.
@@tonya--7704 I think that’s a stereotype, I’m a law student and not a kpop fan but I do love one Korean group. I think yuzuru has that extra spark and that passion that makes people follow him, kpop idols rarely have that spark, that passion, that talent (I’m talking abt idols so that doesn’t include every Korean artist) So I don’t think the comparison is good but yuzuru definitely is an icon
@@reylitabiok5650 I agree. Kpop is business. It's about making as much money as they can. Yuzuru is an athlete. He is unique because he is not only an athlete but an artist too in the same body and he managed to merge these to creating something GREAT even those recognize who otherwise wouldn't be interested in figure skating. On the top of that he has an adorable, kind and polite personality so he wins over every normal person the moment they see him interacting. That is who he is. The world is a better place because of him. His career is so inspiring to watch. I'm 100% sure he has changed many people's life with his amazing performances. (And with his generous donations after the earthquake. He's amazing.)
He just doesn't compete, he makes each and every performance worth remembering because he gives his all every single time. No matter how long or short the program is he makes sure to not waste a second of it. This kind of passion makes watching him worth it. He really is one of a kind. ❤
Watching his hydroblade during the Beijing gala when he kissed the ice... after his recent announcement I started to think he somehow knew that was his last time skating on the ice of the Olympics.
He looks like he is having so much fun skating in those shows with other skaters. He is always the star of the show, and he really knows how to get the audience excited. I mean, I'd be hyperventilating if I were watching one of these shows live! They might have to call an ambulance.
Same here. Hopefully I don't need to travel to Japan for it, but if that's the only way, I am willing to do it. (me in the next moment after this comment is sent: looking up Japanese language books online 😁)
Yuzuru ama la música, ,es bailador-patinador nato y además le fascina el rock and roll... y la buena música!!! Es sin duda el paquete completo para el patinaje artístico
Truly. It's magnificent. I love his skating to Toshi's singing, I get goosebumps and the hug at the end makes me cry out all of my sorrow and makes me feel renewed.
Random thought but it would be so cool if you made a video of all the times Yuzu skated a program that didn't match his costume! It always gives me whiplash 😂 (like swanyu skating LGC lmao)
OF COURSE HE KNOWS! How could he NOT know? I guess he's decided to take advantage of our sincere admiration and affection for him by toying with us, as evidenced by his "hip thrust skating moonwalk"... which unfortunately, we can't 'unsee.' Aaaggghhh! He really should have saved that for his wife. What are we supposed to do with it?
Sure! -Masquerade FaOI 2019 -Fantasy On Ice ( 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019) -PyeongChang 2018 Gala -WTT 2017 Gala -Let's Go Crazy GPF2016 -Let Me Entertain You -Hello I Love You (2012) You can watch the links of the fancams in the description;)
@@mztee8107 Sweetie I don't want to intrude but just in case someone doesn't know how to access the video description: X out of comments and scroll up to title of video. To the right there are two lines pointing in a downward arrow. Just tap that and it will give you the description which usually lists source material, links to that source material music and artists. I have to admit, it took me a long time to figure it out so this is for others like me who are kind of learning as you go.
He's so hot until he starts touching himself and moving his hips, cuz that look is definitely 'not Elvis', and I'm glad! (Still, I call him Japanese Elvis, since he has stirred so many hearts!) The ruckus he has made is really amazing! He just skates sooo beautifully and is sooo photogenic, and seems to "embody" (LOL) every good quality. But he's been a really great role model, and we need good! Our kids need good! God knows, we've long had too much of everything else.
