yuzuru's magic transcends beyond your "this should be like bla bla bla". BEYOND. He engulfs the programs and make them as his owns. I would like to borrow Kurt Browning's words for Yuzuru : "I have choreographed for Yuzuru. He actually listens,he's very respectful,he's very curious to see what you offer to him. And then He finds his little moments (in choreography) he moves with the music cue.... and i bet that wasn't shaped , i bet that was his instinct. And NOBODY in the business right now stands on the center ice doing nothing better than he does and has the audiences before his start."
Does anyone else feel kind of like crying when they watch this? and somehow profoundly honored xD But THAT FINISH. it seems like he's saying goodbye to something.
Unbelievable he still recovers from a serious leg injury... he is not human... such grace on ice (almost) nobody have nowadays. Yuzuru, feels the music and the moves! I'm really proud of him! Can't wait to see more of this season! Yuzuru, good luck and take care!
Gwen Cafell He had pain in his left foot since last season and in January it got worse. Even with pain killers he couldn't skate his usual programs so he had to change them. He has something called Lisfranc ligament damage or Lisfranc fracture and is a serious injury because the metatarsal bones from the leg are displaced from the tarsus which cause the person who has this injury to not be able to walk and bend correctly the foot.
I love watching his practices. Sometimes he seems soooo fresh and inspired. He practices a lot and skates a lot of competitions, and it can't be possible to be in top form with perfect inspiration every day. One skater said that he even Falls more beautifully! That's how I feel about it. Just keep going, Yuzu! ❤Fly, Yuzu!❤
All the best Yuzu. Hope I catch the livestream for SP and LP this weekend. It's hard to believe he just added 4L this season (though he landed in ice shows/practices). That 4L looked soft and easy, it's like he has been doing that on programs for years.
you can watch it here: www.eurovisionsports.tv/ (but geoblock in certain territories) or news.sportbox.ru/Vidy_sporta/Figurnoe_katanie/spbvideo_NI680605_translation_Figurnoje_katanije_Gran_pri_Kanady_Muzhchiny_Korotkaja_programma (russian site) if you live in Europe, you can catch it on Eurosports channel. Hope this helps.
your welcome :) the competition starts today. you can check the time schedule (all in local time there) here: www.isuresults.com/results/season1617/gpcan2016/
You mean 4Lo, do you?? He can do the 4Lutz as well, but he hasn`t shown it in competition so far (or has he????). Jin does, as well as Adam Rippon does ( uhm, but not as clean as JIn :-) ).Anyway - Hanyu is the only one with a 4Lo in competition, but there are a few other Skaters with extraorinary programs this year - so this Season is gonna be a real Thriller!
Oh yes, 4Lo. I tend to shorten Loop to L ;P He did 4Lz in practice and landed it few times, but still unstable. Some skaters including juniors already tried 4Lo but so far, Yuzu is the cleanest. This is why men competition is very exciting. All types of quad already landed except 4A
He is not. Yuri is very different from Yuzuru except for the fact that they idolize a Russian skater. Some say he resembles Yuzuru physically (and others say he doesn't), but Yuri's character and story is more similar to Tatsuki Machida's, and even then it's not identical.
