Yves Montand on Jean de Florette & Manon des Sources 

Best film I've ever seen..

Most amazing performance from Yves Montand. He's surrounded by Auteuil and Depardieu, who are both magnificent, but he is on another level, methinks.

Great movie, great actor. Truly Great, in the sense that there are none better and there never will be.

Oh wow. I never knew about these introductions. I only saw these great French films a few years ago on very late night Channel 4.

AUTEUIL and MONTANT, are very beautiful in this production.....
