Take a privileged tour of the magnificent apartment of late Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge and discover the exceptional artworks that will go up for auction at Christies in the sale of the century
I love how he and Berge collected things from all over the world. So exotic and eclectic. Can you imagine a dinner party with them here? So dramatic and theatrical.
This is what my Heaven will look like, where you could literally dive into an eternity's worth of stories behind each and every work of art, every single sculpture, painting, furnishing, all of it it timeless and priceless, that's what Heaven means to me.
Now many people can enjoy a piece of his collection of beautiful and unique items. Perhaps they will go to home where they can really shine. Ornate juxtaposed in a modern setting is stunning. Look at the Louve with the beautiful glass pyramid. For true enjoyment & admiration
Every stylish person from the 20th century has a home like this; eclectic and classy. (i.g. Diana Vreeland, Hubert de Givenchy, Iris Apfel, Coco Chanel) So much character. These objects has seen everything Ysl and Pierre Berge had gone thru.
I love the collections of different things from all over the world... I have seen other collections that just look like a lot of what-nots but the exotic and eclectic look and feel of the collections gives wondering and drama to the rooms.
You can definitely recognize his passion for exotic prints, furs, and art. I like it though, but I could live without the leopard/cheetah fur furniture.
Too terribly sad that all those beautiful, marvellous, masterpieces of art are sold and shall never be altogether with their brilliant owner. I never could understand P. Berger, for me he is a bad man.
Thank you for sharing this with us. You seem terribly busy but could you let us know when you return here about the music that goes with this video? Its absolutely beautiful. Bravo!
So cluttered and tasteless ... Looks very kitsch to me. Not a single space to sit down and relax. One could not even walk in such overcrowded space! The Mondrian and Legers and DeChirico, etc., cannot even be appreciated in such gaudy territory ...
Oh quelle horreur..il vivait dans un muse......mais un appart doit etre cozy...chaud.....bref...j'aime pas du tout .. vous vous en foutez.. hahaha moi aussi....completement....hahaha
Looks uncomfortable. I dare anyone to sit in those lux chairs. It's like a mini museum. A visitor would lightly walk through and out the door. Yves surrounded himself with beauty in both his professional and private life.
It didnt look like that bfre his death..after his death they just put everything inside n stuffed it that way..closed his art gallery and atelier and transfered everything inside his house..
You sound like one of these dweebs who just discovered minimalism through social media and thinks they're the only one who knows Mies Van Der Rohe and mid century modernism
I like music. .....the Bible says -Cod forbids sodomy.... the price of such a life is penniless without the love of a woman and her own children.... it is his choice not for his good... your soul lost....
@@natalyaannenkova411 , you cannot be serious??? Your book of fables says what??? Do you think straight people do not practice sodomy?? Penniless life, have you not looked at what they had??? OH, COME ON GIRL? BUT WHATEVER MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD AT THE END OF THE DAY. By the way, your GOD made gay people, No one chose this life. It is all created by GOD.
@@natalyaannenkova411 And you are delusional and lost. Why the world has so many problems because of ignorant, judgmental, close minded people like you and your tyrant leader Putin.
