Not the top end, but indeed the spark plug. Low rpm stuff requires much less oil, so a leaner mixture is good for that. It’s just small cc 2 strokes have no bottom end torque, so he would give it gas and it would just die.
Two strokes are made to be ridden on the pipe and don’t really have any low end when you ride them like that they load up because the powervalves arent open and fuel + oil aren’t getting properly combusted.. that’s why it’s bogging so hard
