I've heard that when you are lean the bike will take a long time to settle back to idle and when you are rich it will drop below idle then even back out. Obviously your gonna want to ride it after and do any more necessary adjustments but it gets you close.
Some yz 250’s have that sound. It is either piston skirt knock or a clutch basket that is worn. If the sound goes away when pulling in the clutch lever it’s simple basket knock and not the internal engine 👌
@@chadrides914 I doubt highly JClark would waste time tuning a bike with piston slap..that's what 250s sound like..my KTM is the same..it not jus a Yz thing
Why don’t you run the plastic cover? Surely better to run it than without considering cost of broken engine cases… if I’m too cautious about it tell me why and I will happily take mine off 😂😂😂
