Thank you. It's a very honest mix, too. It wasn't all that hard to set up, either. if you have a good clean amp, great clean tones are right there with this set.

They are designed to be as balanced as we can get them. Ultimately, I guess you would have to judge for your self.

It's about 10% less winds (20% less inductance). It's lower output, so all of the things that go in that direction. A little brighter, a little more scooped. The resonant peak is at higher frequency all other things being equal.

We're going to try and get more examples up. It would be tough to show the differences between those two, without doing some kind of head-to-head, all other things equal kind of thing. A lot of it is feel, how it hits the amp, that sort of thing. Differences that close you could make adjustments that would make them sound similar in a video.

You're saying that you plan to use Z-Core Vintage 5's in neck and middle, and asking what Tele bridge would go well? If so, probably one of the lower wind Legacy Teles: TV5, TV3 or TVS. We have some garage Z options too if you're interested. That would be the closest to a vintage spec Tele. The Legacies are all on the hot side for anything conventional. The Z's look fine above the pickguard. It's basically the Strat layout built to Tele specs and with a copper plated steel baseplate. We just use a Strat circuit board and shave off the excess.
