I've been stuck on an assignment all week trying to figure out Z-Index and this is the first actual tutorial I've seen. It also helped which is incredible! Now I just have to figure out why my grid-template command isn't working on the code I was given. Thank you!

Great techsith, better to learn implement correctly than guessing and putting hack around using inspect elements and changing properties and making them work. I see developer open inspect elements and they achieve same results through hacky way.

Good tutorial, but a much simpler explanation is referencing foreground and background the same way Photoshop or other editors create visible layer organization.
