Head slump happens! And it’s both very dangerous and not an issue at all, depending on where a child is at developmentally.

Before a baby can sit upright freely, unsupported, they lack the muscle tone to pick their disproportionately heavy heads up.

As we discussed under letter F, the resulting chin-to-chest position can block a baby’s airway.
