I set myself on your site with a ton of stuff ( like 9k worth ). Asked a few questions about the oil pump upgrade and had some other questions. Though whoever you have running the emails should get trained a bit better. After researching the last few days, all your stuff could have worked. I went a different route because I had a reply that was very off putting. Z1 Email Reply after asking if the oil pump was an upgrade or an OEM VQ35DE- "I see your cart in there, and again, I cannot guarantee that these parts will work on your Altima. your motor does have a different top end setup than the 350/g35 motors." I asked for more information on this after giving a huge rundown of fwd vq35de vs rwd vq35de and : "I owned a 3.5 Altima Coupe as well, there are going to be some differences. But I can set up the quote with the decals for you if you are sure they work on your vehicle." Just for everyone else out there... Sales over Information company.
Seems like they tried to be up front and not sell you parts they weren't confident would fit. Z1 isn't an "Altima Coupe" company. If you contacted them and gave them a rundown of the FWD VQ35, it sounds like maybe you had your answer already.
@@drizzetsrevenge I wish that was the case. The slight differences aren't enough for it not to work. I was told from them it didn't work, so I just found different items. Sad part is I did find some and tested it, they worked fine.. Another company did the same for the car on some other stuff I wanted. I had to use it though, while once again not having an issue installing or figuring out a small change. It's just the car, people aren't really trying it on them, they see a different engine displacement and assume it wont work over a couple bolts. Makes sense they didn't design it for that exact motor. But maybe some testing would have been a nice thing before flat out lying. Not my loss, got the Z1 parts I wanted for cheaper anyways. Lol
