Literally watched the entirety of Gargoyles here. Entire seasons of Power Rangers too. RU-vid used to be a way for people with little to no access to media to get their fill.
Don’t forget that in the very beginning of youtube, episodes were broken up into twenty parts of 6 minute videos at 240p and sometimes 480p, and you’d be lucky to even find parts 2, 5, 7, or even just in order at all lol
What I don't understand is the father of the twins lost that sword fair and square in a duel. A duel that HE insisted on having. The twins have no right to it Tori family living in a world of delusion where they lose their family sword in a duel THEY instigated with a bet that THEY agreed to, but then call it theft
I think Toki's father took the sword without a permission of his mother, so she didn't accept the loss of it because she would never allow for the sword to be in anyone else's hands but hers.
@@armorpro573 Yeah, definitely you can, but also definitely nothing like this one. This is not just a boring ecchi anime like most of modern ones, at least it has a story and cool characters. In my case, I'm not actually a fan of ecchi, nor I'm used to watching ecchi stuff, but I liked this one. And I can't get any of these current ecchi animes, the story is always shit and nothing more than a pretext for the ecchi scenes and the characters are boring, and the animation isn't great in the non-ecchi scenes. This anime manages to have an engaging story that isn't just an excuse for ecchi, a good soundtrack and cool characters, and the animation is consistently great from start to finish. Even the ecchi fans who saw this, I'm sure they came for the ecchi and stayed for the story, characters or soundtrack, or all of that. So, at least in my opinion, it's not about finding ecchi or not, but about finding ecchi anime that are good, not just for the ecchi scenes, and have something to offer beyond that. I must say, a prime example of this is also City Hunter.
@@armorpro573 Actually, I agree. I also didn't even find it unique tbh, I just found it more fun to watch or less boring than these modern ones, for me it still has a story or at least it tries to, this is already a lot compared to those of today... and yes, City Hunter is far superior, this is one that I can really say is something beyond just a generic ecchi.
@@AngeloMiguel-tq9di It seems to me that nowadays, most new anime shows has to have at least one fanservice scene. I just feel it's a bit unnecessary, especially since it gets in the way of proper storytelling. Not saying it can't work, but without a good storyline and jokes to mitigate the repetitiveness, it falls flat. Same thing applies to every tired old cliche that appears day after day. Anime used to be something, but now it's turned into a corporate state where shows are pumped out to make a quick buck. Such a real shame
@@user-ManofStyle1 I'm an idiot, Urusei Yatsura is Rumiko Takahashi, but my brain wouldn't pull that up for some reason... And she is most definitely not on the IMDB page for Za Samurai...
