You asked if people live in the houses on the Zaanse Schans. Yes, people live there. You also tried to walk in clogs and that hurt, but you have to wear thick socks. 😀

It's close by just 5 to 10 min walk. Also, we get to see the neighbourhood, so that is worth it. Yes they use euro.

Hi was the 5 euro ticket was for the inside of the windmill ? What if one doesn't want to see the inside mechanism of windmill do we need to pay ? Also pls tell me where to buy ticket in Zaanse Schans ? We r planing to go this June.. will there be a long queue ?

Yes 5 Euro ticket is for seeing windmill from inside and to go on top of the windmill. But there is no charge for seeing it from outside. Actually in whole Zaanse Schans you dont have to pay any ticket . Just reach early morning to avoid crowd and should be ok.

Clog Museum is in Zaanse Schans , where they show how to make clogs out of wood and also you can buy them as well

If we go in afternoon around 2pm , enough half day for visiting zaanse? Or I have to dedicate full day?

I would recommend going early morning to avoid crowd, as things open there from 9am onwards.but if u plan at 2 pm still it will be good to cover. Zaanse is only half day trip so will be ok . Please go there u will love it.

How much did the souvenirs cost individual wise ? Could you share pics ?

The price range can be huge hence difficult for me to answer this question, it can start from 1-2 Euros and then go up from there. Unfortunately they dint have any price sheet for these items
