You can check if there is any validity on old one (it's valid now or not). Generally ZAB Certificate remains valid for an unlimited period, unless there have been significant changes in the education system or regulations since then. But better to double check or with the ZAB service zabservice@kmk.org
But for masters they must need bachelors too (you ca clarify them on email). Like for bachelors they need secondary & higher secondary/ diploma certificate. Same for masters they need bachelors too

If certificates are in English then no need. Mine was in English. I didn’t translate into German. But if any other language then yes you have to get translated them

I have done assessment of my degree from Anabin the 2-year MBA program is coming under A5 category and my University under H+ Category. I have completed my MBA program in 2018 , Due to a back log the Degree certificate was awarded to me from the university in year 2019 and the same year is documented on the Degree Certificate, Whereas in the marksheet and certificate of completion my study duration and completion is clearly mentioned as 2016-2018. In simple words I have received my degree one year later, that is in 2019. So, for the above-mentioned case Do I need a ZAB assessment ? , or keeping the same I can move further for Visa application without a ZAB test.

Yes it takes time to receive payment link, Atleast they take 4-7 days. In my case i received on 4th day. But I followed up with them on email to send asap, so i can get my zab certificate before appointment, If you call or email them, they definitely respond to you. Bit slow but for sure :)

ILETS doesn't require. Here preferred language is German , if you get a offer letter then you can definately aply for work visa. It's not PR visa, PR Visa only you can get if you have blue card work visa. Now the second category Is equivalent has been changed to Corresponds and both the University is showing as H+. So in that case if my understanding is correct, I dont need to get the degree recognized. Please confirm

Hi Ben Certified means attested copies by notary public or sealed by gov authority. Generally you have to certified your degree certificate and seal it with stamp. Plus they also need certified transcripts of your degree, you can certified them by notary or can get from college directly ( but should be sealed with stamp). If both are not sealed, chances to accept are less based on what I know
Yes, first they send soft copy then hard copy. If you want hard copy quickly then you have to arrange courier service to pick your documents from germany and deliever to you. Else they will send by normal local post which will take time

You just need to certified soft copy of degree by notary and ask them to seal it properly and put a stamp on the seal + you can also put the soft copy of the certificate of notary guy who will do certification (Kind of id of that person which states notary company/ agency recognized by gov). Put both documents in same envelope and seal it. That will be enough for them For the Transcripts, if you have original extra copies (sealed) from university, then would be great to send those. Else do the same above steps for soft copies.

Upon checking in anabin, i found out that my univ and degree are recognized and has equivalent status with German standard. But my visa office here in Jakarta still asking me to apply for Statement of comparability. my question is : is it possible to apply statement of comparability if my univ and degree are already listed in Anabin? I have asked this problem to ZAB via email but no reply yet.

Hello, Your video is very informative. Actually I'm facing a problem. I cleared my payment of 200 € on 7th June after getting their email regarding bank details. But I've not received any confirmation email regarding receiving the money by them. I asked ZAB through email several times, but they're not replying to any of those mails till date. I'm a little bit tensed about whether they've received the fund or not. Is it normal to not get any acknowledgement?
Hello @archanakundu661 May be they have so many applications and thats why they didn't have chance to send the confirmation of payment. Usually you get the confirmation in week. Even i chased them on email but after some follow ups i got the confirmation. Did you try on this email "ZABService@kmk.org" If yes and no response yet, then may be you can reach out to the by phone +49 228 501 664 Thats how i contacted them for other reasons by phone too. It takes time to get connect, but they respond . But dont worry if you didn't get any payment fail notification from Bank. Or you can ask bank to confirm if money has sent. Good luck! Its not required, you can show the anabin proof. But on other side, it may takes time for embassy to verify all details of university and so on So its better if you apply for ZAB, it will give you visa quickly. But I would say, please call the embassy of your near by and clarify. Because it depends on embassy to embassy sometimes.

My degree falls in A3 category in Anabin data base but in the certificate, it shows both Conditionally comparable (Bedingt vergleichbar) and Corresponds (Entspricht)to Baccalaureate/Bachelor 3j. Hello Ajay, It's bit confusing :) So, It would be great to clarify with them on email or call. Check contact email on website and send the query or call them, They will definately respond, but could be late reply. When i had doubt at my time, i send them email before applying for zab. I have got an offer from one of the german company and salary offer also met the Blue Card requirement. Both University is H+ in Anabin. I have 15yrs of exp in Cyber Security. Hello, Thank you very much for your video. Recently I applied for Statement of Comparability in ZAB for reason that when I have been graduated the program was not accrediated. The fact is that in my home country there are some laws that the new programs because at that time my program was new in 2018 and I graduated in 2021. Due to Covid19 the process of accreditation finished in 2022. Of course regarding the laws of higher education in my country my university issued my diploma after the accreditation was finished but they only see to one website the year when the decision has been approved and the date that will finish the accreditain and they not even asked me for any proof in case the doubt for authenticy. What do you suggest me to do or anybody in my case. I have one Master Degree also which I have recently finished. That one fulfill their accreditation requirements. Do you think Master Degree will override my bachelor degree accreditaion?

Hello Ashish, Yes you can certified your documents from Indian Notary which is authorized by government. Please ask them to put your certified documents after stamp in envelope and seal that envelope properly. Else ZAB people will not accept if it’s not sealed by them.

Hello Madam, I have 2 degrees , bachelors in engineering and masters in management. Bachelors degree /university both are there in anabin. for masters only university is recognized. I am applying for JSV. I have 10+ years experience in Engineering field and I am trying to search a job in my field only which is related to my Bachelors. Do I still need a ZAB for my masters ? Can I say that I tried management jobs but I did not get it so doing jobs based on my degree?
If you want them to do evaluation of masters, then definitely they need your all qualification documents starting from 10th, 12th, bachelors to masters. You don't have to do separate evaluation for bachelors. But attachment of bachelors document for masters evaluation required. HOPE it's clear. More clarity you can get from the website where it tell you about what documents required for masters evaluation

Thanks for your feedback Paiker. Below are my answers on your questions; 1. Only those notary can attest, who have authority by government. \ 2. You have to ask them to seal if they dont do. They do sometimes but most of the times they don't know for what purpose are you asking them to attest.So better to explain and tell them to seal it. 3. It would be better if you get transcripts (sealed one) directly from your college. But if you dont have time you can attest your transcripts copy by Notary and get it sealed. Hi Akshat You have to do both> select Blue card applied for and also tick Bluecard employment contract is included" if you have the employment contract. You have to send them contract too with this application if you are marking tick. But for blue card make your you meet the requirements of salary. Check on anabin/ kmk website
