the show had the perfect balance between heart breaking, serious and zany which worked for some reason. brendan frasers role as cox's ex brother in law. man.
"To be always working, reaching out for, a hand that we can't see, everybody's gotta hold on hope It's the last thing that's holding me" - Come on, JD, None of this is real, you know that... Think about it.
*So many fans say "Oh I wish they'd bring this show back" not me. Scrubs was hilarious & I rewatch it often (Seasons 1 to 8 anyway) but it could not get made today, as they'd have to dilute the comedy aspect of it because there are so many jokes that would get you "cancelled" today. I look back on those days with fondness because Scrubs came out at a time where humour & what is funny wasn't POLICED by people who are frankly miserable in their lives & love nothing more than tearing things down, be it comedians or shows.*
@@thezx5795 Just create a different show altogether in that case. The “old minds” are what made Scrubs what it is. There's no need to infuse today's social politics into the legacy and memory of a great show. It had it's time, and it made its impression.
I can't say how many time's I've watched every season of Scrubs over and over, but you can definitely tel seasons 8 and 9 were below average as far as how funny they were. Especially the last season when most of the original cast weren't even there every episode.
Just saying, if they did a reboot of Smallville.. I'd pay good money for Michael to shave his head and reprise Lex. To me Michael owned Lex like Heath did with Joker. No offense to the others who have portrayed Lex, but I tuned in to see Smallville mostly for his performance. Dont get me wrong I loved that show, and the actors, they where all brilliant. As for Scrubs it was an awesome show, the dynamics was really good for us as the audience, glad that it was good infront the screen for them aswell.
To me Smallville's casting was definitely on point when it came to their characters. No offense to the CW's DC universe, but Smallville depictions of Hawkman, Stargirl, Lex Luthor, etc were the best.
An another thing is if you give harts on comments that you really like. not on all of them just few. It will help. People will want to comment on the next clip. And ask the audience. Questions to get more comments. Or try to make the next guest a surprise. Hint what the next guest’s will be or something. For more comments and views.
The show NBC screwed over and over and over by moving it's time slot. I think they never believed in it and kept trying to replace it when it had the ratings, but some exec figured otherwise.
ABC owned the show, NBC had rights to air the show and collect ad revenue. The fact that ABC was always willing to pick it up is why NBC held onto it for so long

The fact that ABC was always willing to pick it up is why NBC held onto it for so long Also NBC lost friends and frasier in spring 2004, and renewed scrubs (and other nbc comedies) for 2 seasons back in 2004. NBC was in 4th place ratings wise, so they didnt have anything better to replace scrubs with. Then the writers strike happened in 2007, and NBC finally let it go. I *think* the writers returned from strike, but im not for sure. ABC then picked it up to use as a mid season replacement in 2008-2009 year
An I would ask not all the time but ask for likes on your clip helps out. So it will help your channel grow. Your getting a lot of views but not a lot of likes and comments
You know, I love scrubs it's one of my all time favorite shows and I genuinely Miss it but I'm also not gonna push for any more of the show because I genuinely want the last season not that garbage 8 season I think it was to be the finale. The show is a special place in my heart and I watch it all the time even to this day. But if they do a one season run off or they do something cool I'll probably all for it but not an extravagant continuation of the show
You are thinking 9th right, not the 8th. The 8th had the Finale where he walks down the hallway and greets most of the guest stars and ends outside as Bill (Shows creator) is in a janitor outfit taking down the sheet that acted like a film screen to sort of give us a glimpse.. The 9th is what was a stupid mistake "Med school, new cast, with original cameos"
