You mentioned the Nashville music industry being almost like a cult, I'll go another step and say it's run like our current political system. Just a good ole boys club.. nothing more... Same groups of songwriters producing crap music and getting paid well for doing so... I'll disagree about Lainey though, she deserves to be there and at least sounds country, unlike many others in the industry...
The performances at the CMA's ranged from "decent-good" to "Excellent." The awards nominations were strange after seeing this video. Walker Hayes is anything but "new"
The performances were ok. I mainly liked the performances from Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell and Brothers Osborne and The War and Treaty and the ending Alan Jackson tribute
The awards were mild. The ones that I was happy for this year were Luke Combs getting Entertainer again Lainey Wilson getting Female Vocalist and New Artist Cody Johnson getting Single and Video for Til You Can’t But definitely not on par with last year or 2020
@@drewgoff652 you have to be kidding. Zach Bryan has better music in every single way then Russel Dickerson. Name one thing that Russell does better than Zach.
