Deep I do same thing to keep from crying every time I have to leave my family to go to work cause I'm a union Pipeliner and I get one day a week with the ones I care about most and makes me wonder if it's worth missing out on all the good things but it's the only way I can give them a good life but I feel like I'm missing out on my life with them
Your family is probably very grateful for your hard work, and the life they are able to have because of it. But more then anything, kids don't need fancy things, or the latest I phone to make them happy. If I could have asked for anything when I was a little kid, it would be to spend more time with my Dad. The memories with loved ones are worth more than anything
