Sending your baby with strangers to surgery is a pain you can’t explain. To watch them wake up in pain you can’t fix is another kind of pain. Don’t ever want to go through it again.

Tori is such a good mom, she reminds me of my mom a lot. She’s so nurturing and sweet, that’s what every kid needs.

What a wonderful happy little boy, how he waved and smiled at his mum and dad as he was willed off to the operating theatre, shows what wonderful parents he has his behaviour is all thanks to his parents

For Zach and Tori, my son had legs like little Jackson. I had them when I was younger too. My mother used to say my legs were so bowed a pig could walk through without touching sides. I had the Shriners hospital help with his surgeries. They had to cut a femur in half and reposition the right leg so his leg and foot would be straight. On the left side he had the lower bones cut in half, stapled and screwed, and repositioned. I was a single mother so arranging this was harder than the surgery. It took five attempts for the initial surgery and 3 attempts for to remove the hardware. I got my dates mixed up for the initial surgery...i thought it was the next week. I got home early one day and the nurse said you should be here already. So i had to drive 12 hours to Salt Lake City. The doctors were the best and they changed their mind and that's why they had to cut the femur. A nurse came out to update me and said the body case was so cute. I SAID "BODY CAST!!!" Then she explained what happened. He is 35 now and his legs are straight. But it is emotionally draining. I'm just glad you have each other to get through this. Of course, Zach has had some of this surgery experience before. I don't like surgeries...i don't like breaking a fingernail. But I am sure little Jackson will be fine...he's got great parents!!!!

It’s so strange to watch this. Because I dot. Watch the newer shows. But I remember when Zack was young and had to have an operation, I believe had to do with his legs too. I remember the pain he was in. It’s always a heart pulling thing. Having any of your children have to go through surgery. ❤️
