I have battled PTSD from childhood trauma and traumatic relationships. I lived in fear for many years. It wasn't until I started seeing God has been with me through it all because there are a few times he saved me, and I know it was him that intervened because of the way he did it, he is the only answer. God bless you. I am celebrating 39 years clean and it wouldn't have been possible if I had not gotten so low that I tried to commit suicide. God said no it's not the right time. He brought me back from death, literally. When the Dr pulled the plug on my life support, God said, it's time to wake up. Scared the heck out of the Dr. because just a few short hours before he pronounced me dead. I had no heart beat, no brain activity at all. My family had been called in so they could say their final goodby. All except my precious mother. She refused the diagnosis, called all the prayer warriors she knew. And God woke me up.

I prayed for you while you were in prison without ever having met you, 12 midnight, 2am and 3am in the mornings God often leads me to pray for the incarcerated. So glad you're out. Don't forget the God who made a way for you.

God can turn anyone's life around as long as you want to change and accept him in your heart and in your life. Never be ashamed of our Lord Jesus Christ. This man died on the cross for our sins so that we could live and one day live with him in the kingdom of God were there is no pain, no sorrow, just pure happiness. My ex that passed away 4 years ago at the young age of 47 we were married at one time for 13 years and he was my first love and the man of my life. Has anyone heard that song God gave me you? It makes me cry. My ex gave me two beautiful daughters and even though he was in and out of there lives and he regretted it later on in life and was trying his best to change his ways and he accepted the Lord and Savior into his life and we have 10 beautiful grandparents together in which he didn't get to meet all the precious babies and he loved his daughter's and grandchildren and things can just happen in the blink of an eye and that's exactly what happened to my angel and I never even got to say goodbye, I talked to him the day or two prior to his passing and it breaks my heart still knowing that I'm the only surviving parent of my daughters and Thank you Jesus because you blessed me and us I should say with two beautiful daughters and all of our grandchildren and he is up in Heaven looking down over us as he always did on earth. There is no time on grief and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him and what hurt and hurts the most is what I had to see my daughters go through and I wouldn't wish that kind of pain or anything bad upon anyone I'm not that type of person. Like God says do unto others as you would want done unto yourselves and what an amazing and true statement. You feel hopeless because that's one thing you can't do is bring someone back no matter hoe hard you try, and never in a million years would I have ever thought it would happen to my Larry may you RIP 06-13-67 till 01-10-2015 . It was just one of those things that happened and he was home alone and what actually I believe did it was that before someone found him he went 4 hours without oxygen to the brain and he just came back to Florida he was staying with his aunt. But he was in a coma when I was at the hospital and I sat with him and held his hand and I told him that I wasn't gonna say goodbye, I told him that I would see him again one day in Heaven except God needed him more right now and it's not my place at all to question God. He was a good man and had a heart of gold and we remained layer on best friends and he always protected us his family and I can feel his presence sometimes and I know its him because it's a sweet calm spirit and he said something to me that he always did when he was with us on earth so I know it was him. He would often come to me when I needed reassurance and he would make me feel like everything was okay and that he was watching over me and my daughters and his grandbabies. I miss him every day that goes by and all I have is the precious memories I carry in my heart that he gave me for so long and I wouldn't trade those times for anything in this world. It's a void that nobody could ever fill and I ask God everytime I pray for his guidance and strength and I do know someday like I tell my daughters that we will all reunite with him when God calls us home. Things you don't think will happen to you unfortunately it does to some people and if I knew I would have went back and told him everything I wanted to but he knows how much he is still loved and missed and he is me and my daughters guardian angel and he always will be. People out there who still have there loved ones hold them close to your heart and tell them every day that goes by hoe much you love them and just love them unconditionally because nobody walking the face of this earth is perfect but the Good God himself. God Bless you all and all your family and friends and may you know God and may you feel his sweet spirit. There is nothing that you can't overcome with God on your side and anyone that has God in there hearts knows that. I absolutely love the saying Footprints In The Sand and it's such a true saying before when you needed him the most that is when he carried you when you only saw one set of Footprints in the sand. Then a sweet lady also told me that they also made a beautiful song called Footprints and it's a beautiful song. They all found Jesus inside, but lost Him the moment they got out; ripping me off and robbing anyone they could. I hope you can do better and show them a better way! I've seen many people find Christ in jail it's the ones that have lost their way that need him the most.... plus in a pllace like that you're desperate enough to genuinely seek Deliverance you're taking down a notch or two and humbled

I’ve been there. first thing the devil gonna do is test his faith with all kinds of temptation. Many will fail, but only if they take their eyes off God. It’s really that simple. Get him around some Godly people right away cause the worlds gonna be over whelming the first while. Going from complete restriction to none at all, is a big leap.

Adam Pentz I guess that was meant for those who are in prison because of their faith in Jesus. Nonetheless it is good to go into the prisons and encourage the inmates to be strong in their faith.

Y'know, I understand why you would say that. However, there is no indication in the passage or in any of the rest of Matthew 24-25 that it is only talking about brothers who are in prison for the Gospel. What it does say is that they are "the least of these". Also, looking at the context, I don't know how you can carry that idea over to the rest of the sufferings of man. Is Jesus sick because of the Gospel, or is he just sick? Is Jesus hungry because of the Gospel, or just hungry? That said, thank you for your heart to encourage the inmates. A good friend of mine was a prison guard and pastor for years, and he tells about how people are badly needed to mentor inmates.

We’re all human.” 1st of all, you are talking about forgiveness in 100% cases, which would leave NO room for the biblical sense of justice “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth”, do you even realize that? So obviously, believing in forgiveness doesn’t mean forgiveness in 100% of the cases (but that’s what your quote advocates). 2nd, We’re all human, but SOME humans are SOCIOPATHS, and this technical concept was developed in modern psychology, NOT biblical times, so “we’re all human” is a false (and ignorant) equivalence. “Thank you for calling me a moron, though. You're not alone. I have fought the same battle, failed, fought again, collapsed into the mud and laid there in despair having lost everything. Only when I turned to Jesus and said, "I give up. I can't do this," did everything change. I can't resist temptation, but he can...easily. And my huge fears? They are mere grains of sand beneath his feet. And he lives in me! Loving a total screw up like me! It makes me wonder how anyone can live this life without his grace and power. Peace to you my friend.
