I love idiots....He wasnt yet DAKSEID he was just UXAS then, and when he was axed, he lost consciousness totally. While he was"defeated" his uncle Steppenwolf usurp the throne, but when UXAS came about, he killed his brother DRAX, and took the throne of Apokalips for himself, and eveybody was killed, eveybody that failed with him the first time, he went totally insane, he even ordered STEPPENWOLF, to destroy and kill all that had knowledge about his failiure and everybody that just thinked to usurp his throne, but even that wasnt enough, he that give final order to Steppenwolf 50 000 planets, but only when he got news that anti life equasion was on the same planet, where the motherboxes was also, only then he was willing to forget Steppenwolf, so he can come home, to Apokalips.... That first war, when he was UXAS, he brought the motherboxes with him, and each motherbox is been accompanied by some kind of WITCH, and they died, and Boxes were left behind... They were hidden for a long time, and then the little superman fell down in Kansas, he grow stronger and stronger, all three species put the boxes on the display(that was stupid) but hey, it is a presentation of (COMICS) it is a "FANTASY".... and everything was alright, as long as Superman was ALIVE, but he died, and motherboxes started calling....So came steppenwolf, and he came for Boxes to create the unity, but when he had two out of three, boxes gave Steppenwolf a vision, and that is that the most precious thing that DARSEID wants is on the same planet, cause it was imprinted upon them, when first time UXAS came with boxes...............Everything else is history. PEACE OUT!!

the worst part is which as zack's told himself it actually have delected scenes, for exemple the epilogue not was supposed to be jhons jhons, it was supposed to be the green lantern john stewart but he had to change because warner ordered him to change it because they don't wanted him to use the green lantern, he had some more few minutes of the movie in case he want to make a "directors cut, lol, which probably make the movie like 5h hours lol. never understimate zacks.

@Some Guy well that was a darkseid with no powers and he was fighting 2 old gods, ares and zeus, along with an entire army. thanos was just having trouble fighting cap, tony, and thor. put ares and zeus against prime mcu thanos they would end him in less than a second. darkseid doesn’t have to be a logical villain, he’s a inter dimensional dictator that wants control over everything and death. people like that exist and have existed in real life. thanos intentions in the mcu make him look softer because he’s more of a good guy with twisted intentions, darkseid only wants everything for himself

I know it's just a comedy skit but... The reason amazons waited for nightfall because the Artemis arrow was supposed to create a bonfire that would be a beacon, it wouldn't make sense doing it at daytime because it would hardly be seen. And I think the reason why Darkseid forgot the location of Earth was that he was wounded and the blood loss affected his memory (lol) his "army" were mindless soldiers and the witches bringing the mother boxes was most likely killed that's why the synchronization didn't finish. Also when he returned to his home planet, Stephenwolf wanted to overthrow him.
