Oh! That's a "Motion Pro" spinal throne. First developed by a chiropractor, and then the patent was sold to Ahead, which makes the "Spinal Glide" version from the same patent. Only difference is the Ahead version doesn't have any springs on the bottom of the plate. Chris Coleman was the first one I saw using the Motion Pro version. I have two of the Ahead tractor/bicycle seat top thrones with backrests, and they've personally helped me tremendously. Your tailbone goes into the slit, taking upward pressure off of your spine, allowing you to play longer or more comfortably without as much back pain. At least, that's the idea. lol -coming from a guy who fractured his spine wrestling in middle school, spent 5 years in a wheelchair, and had 8 major surgeries and a spinal cord stimulator implant put in to be able to walk again, let alone play drums. lol ;)

I had to click on your videos to cleanse my soul. The video I watched prior to yours was a guy that played a water jug with an Iron Freaking Cobra drum pedal. I couldn't bear to look at which model it was. If it was the chain driven one then I've lost hope for drums and percussion. SAVE ME!!!! You are one of the best drummers I've ever heard. I've played for 30+ years and can play anything with any drum kit or percussion instrument. Sorry. Had to vent. I needed your playing to wash away the TRASH I just witnessed
