They could lower the amount of frames you are in the parry animation if necessary. No need to go back a whole other mechanic. In any case, Peach bounces on shield, so that's a terrible example.

@@fernandobanda5734 parry won't be replaced, I get it. But it definitely needs to be more rewarding because its effectiveness is, as a whole, not as beneficial as the power shielding was, particularly when dealing with projectiles

Bruh how is Peach a niche pick? She is a relatively common character at top level.... Can't see how you would think Samsora has a hard time besting people after watching him this summit. He was first of his pool (beat M2K, Dabuz and Cosmos) and ran through an awfully hard losers bracket (Light, VoiD, Zackray, Dabuz). At the end, he only lost to the ones that ended up getting first and second place while giving both of them game 5 sets....
