The Zambia Air Force has completed and handed over a three-roomed house to ESNART MOONGA of Chikankata District, whose house was damaged early this month by one of the ZAF helicopters during a routine operation in the area.
ZAF Commander Lieutenant General OSCAR NYONI's representative, Brigadier General SIMON TEMBO says the Air Force constructed the house within 14 days as was stipulated.
Brigadier General TEMBO says the house is more than just a building but one to restore hope and provide comfort and security to Ms MOONGA whose life was significantly affected by the impact of damage to the house.
He says the Air Force remains committed to protecting and uplifting the lives of those who have been affected by consequences of disasters.
Brig. Gen. TEMBO has also announced that ZAF has handed over a wheelchair, a bed and mattress, solar lights and assorted groceries to Ms. MOONGA.
He said this is part of the social responsibility efforts to ease Ms MOONGA's daily life.
And Chikankata Member of Parliament, JACQUELINE SABAO thanked ZAF for not only constructing Ms. MOONGA's house but for their dedication to ensuring that her life is restored to normalcy.
Ms. SABAO said the swift action by the Air Force shows the importance of taking
