Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Thursday (Aug 22) said that the government’s recent announcement on civil servant salary increase should not be greeted with unnecessary and unreasonable price hikes.
While making adjustments to the civil servant salary, he said the government also wished to control inflation.

Kindly send officers to check the price increase has no control. The retailers already stared increase by Rm1 too RM2 the goods. Check the shops n surmon them. Tindakan commodity Ministry.

I wonder what are the justification of public servant salary increase? Buy voters or their performance improvement? Rakyat satisfaction? Main hantam je?
