To have taken one game off of and have 2:1 series with both Spirit and GG is an achievement no other team did at TI and to be eliminated from back to back facing top 2 teams of the tournament is a result to still be proud of. Also bravo and thanks to the whole Liquid team for top notch content, we fans are eating good! Rooting for the whole team to get a chance to relax and then kill the next season! And good luck to Zai -- hope he feels refreshed after taking a break and also hopefully come back to get the Aegis next year!
I cant cant believe this is the end for Zai. He is one of the best to ever do it, and it just is wrong that he never got to hold the aegis. I hope he comes back soon, watching dota wont be as fun if he is not here.
was rooting for Liquid all season, hoping Zai would win his first TI - crushed when he said it's likely his last... Awesome vlog, I'm looking forward to next season and what it brings! Also, thanks for bringing Matu for a walk! :)
Zai always seems like a rock-solid player. Not just in terms of performance but general level of maturity. That means a lot in a team game. I'll never forget witnessing the marvel that was Secret: Puppey, Nisha, Zai, Yapz0r, and Matu.
heartbreaking end, feels as close as last year’s but overall a very good year for the team, was real fun watching the games whole season and top tier content. cheer up and get some well-deserved rest and go again when ready ❤ real nice tribute and memes at the end and also matu is every liquid fan lol 22:32
Watching TI11 was my first experience watching Dota 2, especially the competitive scene. Over just the course of the TI I grew very attached to Liquid as a team and it inspired me to start playing. This year was very sad knowing once again they came so close but were just short. In the end no matter what happens, I will always root for Liquid. Good luck Zai 💕 you are an amazing player.
Zai is one of the first dota personalities that I trully admired and followed throughout his career. Great all-around guy it seems. Kinda regret not coming to you on TI11 afterparty and shaking hand in person now (figured don't wanna disturb person having fun). Best of luck
Thank you for all the games, zai! Your departure was like zayn leaving 1d - it hurts but shall support :(. We hope to see you again soon, but for now, hope you find happiness in your retirement. I will still wait for your comeback T_T
Zai is probably the most versatile and consistent D2 player along with puppey. Also have that peak level performances that should deserve an ageis, his shadow demon against EHOME in TI6 was next lvl. GG zai.
Zai is one of th best offlaners for me. Hope he doesn't fully retire, but if he does, that retirement is well deserved. I do hope he sticks around the Pro Dota Scene for longer though. Coach or something
Well I think we have all appreciated Zai as a player, he's always been at the top. But what really sets Zai apart, even from someone looking from afar, is what a genuine down to Earth guy he is. There's a zen-like aura around him. If the world was populated with only Zai's I'm sure the world would be a much more peaceful and cooperative place. Best wishes for your future, I hope whatever you do it will bring you happiness and fulfillment.
The quality is way better than TI truesight! Kudos to all TL boys and Zai enjoy your pro scene retirement (Riyadh broodmother epic show has proven that you are still one of the greatest offlaner in the world right now!), not sure who TL is getting the new offlaner but it's pretty scarce to find someone who can draft at the same time playing well as core position right now! Let's go Liquid in 2024!!!
Not all legends in Esports are TI winners. Just like not all legends in traditional Sports are Olympic gold medalists. Zai is one example of a world champion. Multiple major titles under his belt. Zai, Ame, Nisha and Fy are players that may never win TI but will be known as legendary players in Dota.
