U.S. Olympic Team Trials champion Zain Retherford (State College, Pa./Nittany Lion WC/Titan Mercury WC) after going 6-1 at the World Olympic Games Qualifier in Istanbul, Turkey, to finish in third place and earn an Olympic quota to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Zain is a great humble man. From Juniors to NCAA’s and now to Olympic qualifier. Outstanding job. After he goes for gold at the Olympics somebody needs to put him into an assistant wrestling coach role at Oklahoma because he has done and learned a lot to give back to the wrestling community.

After Zain was finished in State College a few weeks ago, he and his family where sitting a few rows below me and I got to congratulate and wish him luck as he climbed the stairs. No huge deal but he's been my favorite since he was a freshman. Nails!!
