My brother had a huge influence on my music tastes. He was always jamming to music just like this. He died at the young age of 27 from an accident. It has left a huge hole in our hearts along with his little family he had started on his own. Its not the same without you here brother. This song makes me think of him. Gone but not forgotten. Took my son to see him in Grand Rapids Mi. Some chick needed medical attention, and I helped with that. After the concert, the whole band came up to my son and I and thanked us for helping the woman. If my phone was charged we would have gotten pictures together with them. But my son will always remember that night!!! Happy 17th Birthday son! Lol!

Her smile was so contagious and uplifting. Cherish the time you have with the ones you love while you can. We love you and miss you, girl.

Raised as a blues-hard rock fiend in the 70's & 80's, I agonized through the 90's scene. My passion for blues-based metal awoke when I can't remember who introduced me to BLS. Though grittier than what I was accustomed to with the NWOBM music I had grown to love, Zakk hooked me in the same way as the rest of his fans, I'm sure; with his raw passion. I hadn't realized at that time he took over lead for Ozzy a few years before BLS, and spent time jumping back and forth between his love for Ozzy, his solo stuff, and BLS. Amazing talent - and it's great to see his progression beyond the alcohol and into sobriety. You are the man, Zakk, and the primary reason I returned to listening and collecting heavy music.

Thank you for this song Zakk. I just loss my sweet 26 year old son in July. He drowned doing what he loved. His 2nd son was born a month ago. My heart will forever be broken 💔

I remember the day I listened to this song had just lost my baby to a miscarriage, covid first hit so I wasn’t allowed to be inside the hospital with my significant other at the time (ex now) I sat outside the hospital crying, cold no sweater because ex at the time started bleeding A LOT so rushed her to the hospital. I have never in my life felt so lonely & hopeless until that day. Then 2 months later I almost lose my life to a single roll over car accident where I was ejected 25 feet going 90mph with no seatbelt. Woke up in hospital doing inpatient rehab after being in ICU for a month. Had to relearn how to walk, eat, talk etc was in a wheelchair was told I’ll never be the same again (multi cranial intracranial hemorrhaging, severe TBi, List goes on and on)BUT yet here I am today. Whatever any of you are going through seek help brothers & sisters there is LIGHT at the end of the tunnel. Life is too beautiful & short to be wasting it with alcohol and drugs. Your pain will not go anywhere else it will just continue to build up until one day it explodes and you wake up in the hospital wondering why your restrained to a hospital bed butt naked lol. 2 years & 5 months later here I am today still a little fucked up but accomplished my therapies speech, physical & cognitive therapy sober ever since with no wheelchair I’m able to walk with a cane today but I’ll be off that soon. Life is still good life is what you make it so understand your actions have consequences luckily no one else was hurt but just me. This song will always have a special place in my heart god bless you all.

My mother was the one next to me when i was denied my right to choose, i haven't change my mind, i would still take her hand and follow her into hell, because there are so many that deserve my spot in heaven alot more than me.

The desert spirits have not only brought bouts of joyful happiness through storms of extreme pain, they built a beautiful personal moat around our borders by filling the skies with over flowing life. Everything once thirsty is now satisfied. Toes are wiggling, dog & cat are snuggled. Coffee & sun teas have amazing well water. The tiny cabin with vintage pink countertops & pet safe floors produces a giggle. The pot belly stove, French doors & large windows filled with sky, trees, cacti & mountain views .... fight for the heart. It's too early to make any noise so I dive down the early morning musical rabbit hole to find myself here reconnecting yet again with abundant blessings. Sobbing is therapeutic.
