In this video, we teambuild around Zamazenta for the Regulation G format for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet VGC. Zamazenta is much better this time around in Scarlet & Violet, thanks to FINALLY getting access to Body Press. With a +1 boost to defense along with Iron Defense, Zamzenta can easily sweep non-ghost types. Wide Guard also gives it great utility to support its partners. Adding Pelipper & Urshifu Rapid Strike is an easy way to build around it for good pressure and reducing fire damage weakness while adding an option like Ting-Lu helps against special attacks and even against Calyrex Shadow Rider. With defensive back bones like Incineroar & Amoongus, Zamazenta has all the tools it needs to set up Iron Defenses. Gouging Fire also allows it to have harder hitting Behemoth Bashes should you go that route.
