Zambia to create soil maps - MTOLO

The Ministry of Agriculture says it is in the process of creating detail soil maps for the entire country.
Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO says this will enable the country make well informed decisions in terms of various fertilizer doses to be used.
Mr. MTOLO said this in a speech read on his behalf by Director of Agriculture, CHIZUMBA SHEPANDE during the 6th AFRIQOM Fertilizer Club Africa Conference in Lusaka.
He said government recognizes the vital role of fertilizer in enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability.
