I love how they each contributed to the other finding out who they were. Zane showed PIXAL what it was like to be independent and more than your programming. PIXAL taught Zane that it’s ok to be a little bit different, it’s what makes you special. They’re definitely my favorite ship
I love detective zane so much bc HES LITERALLY SMIRKING AT HER THE WHOLE TIME he knows he's annoying her and he's doing it because he likes seeing her annoyed. this is a common thing known as ✨boys✨ and it's hilarious.
I love the line "You have half my heart" because it's both literal and metaphorical (well, since both hers and Zane's body were destroyed and have since been rebuilt the literal-ness is debatable but it's still a nice line).
I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure their power sources (hearts) are still the same. It wouldn't make much sense building so much attention around it in season 3 just for Zane to have any generic heart in season 4, and this same point would stand for Pixal. Shows like Ninjago imply that you love from the heart, so having the same heart throughout the entire series makes more sense. Also I think that line was meant to be literal too with the underlying metaphorical meaning to make it deeper
Ok, but here’s the most underrated part about their relationship: I’ve seen my fair share of people who don’t ship Pixane. Some for reasons I short of agree with, and some for reasons I don’t (I respect all of them tho). However, I don’t think I’ve heard anyone say “they don’t love each other in the canon universe ” And I’ve heard that for pretty much all of the other canon ships, (Including Jaya, though I disagree) so that’s a big flex. They made it pretty obvious too, but with the power of ✨overlooked details✨ like: -The fact that they hold hands every 0.0002 seconds. -how one of them completely lose their crap if the other one is hurt -the way that (one of my favourite details) LITERALLY ALMOST IF NOT -_-EVERY-_- TIME PIXAL SMILED IN SEASON 3 (ya know, when she was pretty much emotionless because it was still just the beginning of her character arc) IT WAS EITHER BECAUSE OF AND/OR DIRECTLY AT ZANE- -the fact that they both actually had a lot of impact on the other’s individual character arc, as one taught the other more about themselves. (As beautifully quoted by Zane in Decoded: “she taught me more about being a nindroid, and I like to think I taught her a bit about being human too”) And the best part is that the writers found a way for them to express their feelings towards each other WITHOUT having them kiss every two seconds (…or at all, actually). That’s already better than most Hollywood movies :D Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Well written. My only problem is the ship name. Which I have been calling them Zixal since s3 when I didn't actually know their ship name and tbh I like it more than Pixane.
To me they were the healthiest couple in the show, aside from recurring & one time couples. They never hurt each other intentionally, liked each other from the start, and grew to a stable relationship that lasted to the last season.
I think Pixal had the best development in my opinion, she went from a assistant to borg to a hardcore samurai joining the team with a sweet adorable relationship with zane. And is sweet that the other ninja made her feel welcome letting her stay with them

Lol i love how there first meeting is them awakardly introducing eachother to them being a full blown couple like nya and jay tbh my favorite moment of them is when zane talks in a detective voice and pixal slowly getting annoyed by it
In my opinion there relationship is the healthiest because they can fully understand each other and work well together, from the moment they met they had chemistry

god i love these robots they continue to make me cry with how much they love each other they're PERFECT they are compatible!! THE HUGS. THEY GET SO MANY HUGS AND IT'S ALWAYS SO SWEET THEY ARE JUST SO PERFECT even with the detective stuff, sure she was kinda annoyed but like. then seabound rolls around and she just rolls with it.

"they are the best couple in the entire show fight me" I won't. Because I agree. (I mean, Jaya, Lloykita, and Kailor exist, but Pixane doesn't feel as forced as those in retrospect.)
This is why Zane x Pixel is my favorite ship out of every other ship that I've seen on the internet and also because Zane x Pixel was the very first ship I saw and loved.
My only problem with this relationship is that Zane didn’t really take initiative to get Pixal rebuilt after they got out of Chen’s prison. But like, they handled it pretty well even through that, and are really cute, and I love them.
I’m right with you on them being the best ship. Like, yeah, Nya and Jay is nice, but there’s an element of realisticness and emotion that Pixal and Zane have that they don’t. I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet, but they have a fantastic moment in Crystalized.
Pixane has always been popular forever and always, which is why I have minifugres of them on my dresser and both standing and holding both hands together, cause when I see that everyday and every morning, it still keeps me in mind that pixane is always my favorite ship.
