The awareness of the space he holds and the clarity of his thoughts about himself and this world is admirable. He's more than just a muscular hunk - this interview shows the complexity and depths of his humanity.
I wish him the best, I never made the connection between his character on Fire Island and Glamorous. He can get lost in the character. Can't wait to see him in other projects.
I was impressed with Zane's performance depth and authenticity of his demigod character Ben on CW's Legacies. This man is the total package. And more so after seeing Glamorous as Kim Cattrall's son, Chad this series further proves Zane is not just a 'beautiful face' but has the acting range for both dramatic and comedic demands all packaged into from corporate drag to gym gear and thirst-trap speedos. For sure he is praised in articles and social media after Glamorous premiered.
The fact that Zane Phillips admits that Yt gays have privilege just like their Yt straight counterparts in this world speaks volume to his character. This is what Yt gays should strive to be.
Oh please, I'm gay and I'm sick of this stuff. So if I was a disabled trans black person, I'd be the most in need if sympathy? When did gays become so woke and preachy?
@@benfisher1376I'm black but a straight female and I'm as confused too. Gay people in general are not privileged dosent matter color. Or is he saying gay yt guys have it better ? Just take eastern Europe for example so it's not true.
Apparently he’s dating froy Gutierrez a white passing Mexican. If froy looked like miss Benny, zane would never date him imo. White gays love other white gays froys rumored ex was Richard madden 🥴🥴😬😬
@@benfisher1376 it's not about whose more in need of sympathy. It's about acknowledging that all queer people don't have the same experience- race is a factor and in this world, white people are the most privileged from all races. On gay dating apps, there are often people who write 'no blacks, no Asians', so there is discrimination within the gay community. Just as there is in the straight community.
So honest. He plays parts. He looks for the Motivation the plays the part in each scene. In a sense, all the World is a Stage…We all parts …Be who you are! Authentic.. He knows he is!
He's gorgeous and has a great body. Although if it was me, my theater professor would have mocked me for saying "like" the amount of times he says it. This actor should perhaps expand his vocabulary.
Look I love him ❤ but as an actual engineer who was really good at math in high school it’s a lot harder than that. But now he’s super successful so I think he made the right choice 😂
Zane looks like a 1970 porn actor in this chat. Not that that is a bad thing. I’m finding him to be a lot of fun. Silly goody and a very likeable guy. I’m glad to see the muscles are not what carry him
@@SexuallyRepressedMegalodon3-5 years, wow. I never used to think these guys had taken so many years to reach their level of physique, but based on other answers I've seen online I think you're probably right. And I also agree with you that his arms look even bigger here than in _Fire Island_ , which could possibly be a product of PEDs. Hopefully a few years from now I'll have arms like his _Fire Island_ character did.
@@SexuallyRepressedMegalodon Great advice. I used to hyperfixate on the appearance of my physique in the mirror, but I've enjoyed weightlifting a lot more once I stopped looking at my physique in the mirror altogether. I now try to just follow the process as properly as possible (training frequency, form, diet, etc) and let my physique evolve at its own pace. I figure that following this approach for several years will allow me to one day look in the mirror and see a physique that I feel satisfied with, without wasting time fixating on my underwhelming physique during the years beforehand.
That movie made an impact ? It was entertainment. As far as an all gay cast and crew i will say that might have been impactful, but as a product, there was nothing profound about the film .
This "like" interjection or verbal tick or whatever you like call it is like getting on my like nerves like. But he's pretty and not dumb so who's complaining.
This man should be the protagonist in gay films... not the villain. Let's demonize the Asian characters next time.... the double standards are kind of pathetic
I thought the movie was very unrealistic. There is zero reason why Charlie would be into Howie. Not because of looks and race, but because Howie looks and acts like he's got major issues he needs to work out. He's not even sweet, as the movie tries to imply. For me, the story hinges on those two having a real connection, but it just isn't there.
