In this video, I quickly go over the history of the duelist called Zane Truesdale in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series and explain why I think that Zane has the special ability of Pharaoh Atem from the original series.

Finally someone with a brain that understands that... Not to mention that Zane in the manga is unbeatable and unstoppable never losing a single duel nor to anyone. He is the greatest duelist ever

The reason Zane developed heart problems is because of the Cyberdark deck. Like the Cyber dragons, the heir to the Cyber legacy has an innate connection with the Cyberdarks. But the Darks themselves have an inherent and intense drive for victory and evolution through break your limits and dueling. They require the wielder to give 120% at all times and no breaks inbetween. This was explained in the anime after Sho began to use the deck and started developing heart issues as well. I think your theory about him having some form of the Heart of the cards is sound. The Pharoah being the highest form or level of this maybe a great measuring stick and goes quite well with Zane’s ability to constantly keep his cybers on the field.

Kaiser lost only because of plot, it was forced. That is why he didn't got limiter removal at the end. Plot needed Yubel to survive, fight with Judai and then fuse with him. Kaiser also basically used his weakest deck in that duel and still outplayed her. In reality, Kaiser is the strongest in gx, along with S4 Judai. A final duel between them in the season 4 would have been amazing...

@@jamiemoore4081 in real life, sure, but in anime Cyberdark deck was showed to be stronger. He also never lost while using it. And Cyberdark + Cyber Dragons is his strongest deck and his prime. So yeah, against Yubel he was using his weakest deck (most of his cards were from Season 1) and was still about equal, and could have won if it wasn't for forced plot..

@@rokocvjetanovic shown to be stronger? he faced none of the main characters, like his biggest win with cyber dark was atticus who never won a single duel in the anime. compare that to the deck that beat jaden he had gone his whole life never losing with and rly only lost to aster due to overconfidence

Maybe it should have been a tag duel in which Jaiden chose to fuse himself with yubel & then end on a Jaiden vs Zane fight.

There are a couple of scenes with Zane with chest pain and he brushed it off but he also had a flare up with Aster and he noticed and asked him if he was ok and he said he was fine.

Hell Kaiser is definitely the best GX character and arguably the strongest. Only Season 4 Judai/Yubel stands a chance against prime Hell Kaiser with Cyber Dragon + Cyberdark deck. Kaiser only lost to Yubel because of plot, it was forced. Plot needed Yubel to survive, fight with Judai and then fuse with him. That is why Kaiser didn't got limiter removal at the end. And yeah, he was basically using his weakest deck in that duel. Shame we never got to see prime Hell Kaiser vs Season 4 Judai. That would have been amazing as Judai's final duel in the school and amazing call back to season 1. Duel ending in a draw would also make sense. Too bad that in reality Kaiser was kinda ruined and disrespected in the last season..

The deck started hurting him because he had plateaued as a duelist and could grow any more, it's stated in season 4. and he even has the issue when using cyberdark dragon against the jinzo guy.

My brother in christ, """Zane""" started getting heartaches because in the original version he forced duelists to play in a very sadistical manner with shock collars that he got from battling in illegal duels after pathetically and unclimatically losing to Aster Phoenix, literally, watch the subbed version it's way better, more serious and for the 1000th time, less obnoxious (it is a bit, but only for a bit if you ignore all of the filler episodes)

Oh and other thing, he loses the duel because his heart is literally dying, at that point when he's on his knees he's at the verge of a literal heart attack.

@@DIEBOZBT It is literally confirmed in the original version that it WAS the Cyberdark cards causing the heart attacks. They initially believe it's because of the underground duels with the shock collars but in season 4 Syrus figures it out after he begins suffering from the same heart problems when he takes the deck and uses it in Zane's place.

@@ordinaldragoon I would believe that with a hand to god but honestly, season 4 wasn't the most developed of seasons at all buddy, altough it is not full of inconsistencies, I don't find it at all like a plausible excuse, moreso fodder for **unexplicably** reviving him because as far as I'm concerned, he fucking DIED during his duel with posessed Johan.

@@DIEBOZBT I will agree that it was a bit of a cop out to bring Zane back considering he literally died after losing, but as it may be, the Cyberdarks are still the canonical explanation for his heart attacks. The better way to do it IMO is for Zane just not to have returned at all but maybe the Cyberdark cards themselves. Syrus then could pick them up and go to the headmaster who could explain to Syrus why the deck was forbidden in the first place. Cue then Syrus then using the Cyberdarks in his duel and you end up with the same result as the anime, minus the reappearance of Zane.
